Good evening gentlemen,

Following my decision to join Montreal Sex City last night and further to Jessy’s post on this board I received an e-mail which I judged to be of unfair practice, politically incorrect and downright disturbing. Actually I received three PM messages and six e-mail messages since 11:30 last night from the same person. The receipt of the messages in and of themselves only partially bothered me but this (http://indyssecrets.googlepages.com/candybaby) bothered me tremendously. At first I was taken back, even perhaps flattered that someone would go through all of the trouble to have me on their team. Upon reflection however, there is nothing flattering about it. The messages that I received had things like “I dont understand why you go back work for an agency ??”, “when i have see you are back in an agency i have decide to give you a hand” the best was “your are “Candy” and I have so much admiration for you” (I translated this last statement – here it is in french: “jai pas besoin de te faire un dessin tu es la grande candy et jai beaucoup dadmiration pour toi”).

My thoughts are that if someone would have admiration for me, they would have done their homework and would have known that I have never worked for an agency but more importantly, they would have respected me. I don’t feel respected by this action and am rather feeling awkward and confused…how could someone take the pictures from my website and create a profile and place all of this on a server, which is ultimately public, without my consent or advising me of it. The key here is without my consent. Would a company, such as ABC Inc., prepare a press release to announce that Mr. X is their new Vice-President of Marketing (without even having met with Mr. X). Would ABC Inc. take Mr. X’s information and biography off of EFG Inc.’s website and place it on ABC Inc.’s website – without his consent or approval.

I have always been a person of integrity who has worked hard at everything that I have put my mind to. I have always believed that one can succeed in this business by being themselves, staying true to what they believe in and being the best that they can be (and not at the expense of others). I am not a person who is naïve, and I knew very well that several people ran questionable agencies, had questionable morals, values and agendas. However, I never thought that someone would take me as an object and do as they saw fit and only advise me of their doing afterwards.

In light of the recent events (this one, what I saw at the last GT as well as the herpes thread) I have chosen, for the time being, to take a few steps back, put things into perspective and have been asking myself if I really want to be part of an industry where cash is ultimately king and where the rest does not matter.

To Jessy, I am sorry for all the trouble that you have gone through and I thank you for your words of encouragement. As you saw, there are only two or three agencies (or owners) that I would conceive of with and you are amongst these.

To the gentlemen that I have had the pleasure of meeting...perhaps one day we shall meet again.

( it was a hide link and just me and candy was suppose have acces. i have never put her pics on my website and i have never advertise she was on the group. i have made a profile to show her the look her profile going to have on our website.
i repeat i have not listing her on our website like *** shes a part of our group*** i was in discussion for the last 2 days with her. Yes i am a kind of marketing management. The first idea to have contact the wonderfull candy was just to give her a hand to let her know we just want her best and our concept work to group couple indy's in the same website.

( like this the custumer stay in the same website and call the other lady have her profiles too.
We all know when an independante go back work for an agency is because the business is prob low for her in sometime of the year. A sweet Lady like Candy Baby can and are able to stay indy's. We have offert a service to her and like i see the ** agency ** where she was suppose to go work is more frustrated about she was inform about that only after finally me and candy have not find a clue about my idea.

There is such thing as going to far to fast

There is, at times a very thin line between motivative marketing (which can be good) and obsesive behaviour, which can be interpreted as harassement.

In this case, it is obvious that we have crossed into the harrasement zone.

An SP should have the rigth to decide with whom she will work and with whom she will not. It belongs to Candy and only to her to decide where, if at all, she wants to go.

Even though I do not know you, it is clear (Candy) that you deserve to make your own decision and to be allowed to make it without harrasement, it is not clear to me that there was malice on the part of IndySecrets, still a line of respect was crossed.

You and Jessy are class acts and I wish you the best whatever you decide to do in the future. My only thought is that there are certain elements in this business and hobby you have no choice but to deal with and don't let them decide what you want to do.

I quoted the whole post so that there is a record of the original story. I would not be surprised if this story would change. Something bothered me in my initial contacts with Judy and Co and I think we are only seeing the tips of these icebergs. I have never seen anyone thru Judy's Secrets and never will.

I can certainly understand why you would be pissed off about this, but it is not exactly the first time something like this has happened in this business. Over the past 5 years there have been numerous examples of various agencies doing stuff like this, some of which was publicized and some of which was not. Agencies who are online are very competitive with each other and always looking for ways to gain marketing advantage(s). When a lady becomes well known and well respected in this business, as you have, she is subject to these kinds of shenanigans. Which is not to say it is right or ethical or that you should be accepting of it or flattered by it, but you are not the only escort who has had their image and name misappropriated without her knowledge or permission or consent. Perhaps some other ladies who had this happen to them would have stood up and objected if they had the credible Board presence that you do, and maybe your position will embolden others to speak out when this kind of thing happens. So I applaud you for the position you have taken. You did the right thing by posting about this.

You clearly have distinguished yourself as being a classy person at social gatherings and on the Boards, and it would be a sad loss if you left the business. I am not sure about the incident you referred to at the last GT since I was not there, but the incident you speak about in this thread should not in and of itself be grounds to leave, IMHO, since you have addressed it and corrected it by starting this thread. If you do retire, I wish you well in all of your future endeavors.

Did someone book you and threaten you with violence to switch agencys? Did someone approach you personally, contact you on the phone? Did someone book you and then tell you to go to another agency or else?

Sounds to me that Judy's Secrets has used the internet to make their approach...and I wonder if that's how Mercedez, Kim, Judy and the rest all got approached. Im betting it was.

I have to side with Judy's method's over the physical approach anyday. We're ready about girls getting beat up...who's to say who did the beating. No...an agency doing an approach thru the email is in my book better than the alternative.

One other issue Candy mentioned that I wanted to touch on: privacy. Personal privacy is something that has been shown less and less respect on these Boards of late, and I think the Mods need to be a lot more aggressive in enforcing the rules guarding private info. I see that one private email or PM was deleted in this thread, but in my opinion, a stronger message needs to be sent not only to paid advertisers and SPs but to senior members that personal privacy is to be honored and if it isn't, suspensions and bans should be handed out harshly and liberally.

The only people I choose to associate myself with in this business are people who have shown that they will respect my privacy. There are a couple of senior posters on the Boards who have been around for a long time and they get around the privacy rules by cryptically posting private info. When I say cryptically post private info, what I mean is this: they post personal/private details and then obliquely refer to a "senior member" or a "well known hobbyist", thereby enabling them to say that no privacy rule was violated. You may ask why anyone would bother posting in such a cryptic fashion. The best guesses are very low self esteem, no life outside the Boards, and apparently the feeling that he'll gain respect for his supposed "knowledge" by posting in this cryptic fashion. WRONG. Opposite result. Especially since the cryptic posts are often only partially true or accurate.

Like Candy, I have been disgusted by some recent threads for these reasons. All I can say is that if you see someone posting cryptically on the Boards about the personal or private info of others, be damn sure that you are on notice that your personal or private info will be given the same treatment by that person. All of this should be common sense to everyone, but apparently it isn't so it is worth repeating here.

I've been wondering the same thing. I think it's now called Indys Secrets, though. Maybe Judy was the first girl recruited or onboard & her name was used for publicity reasons since she had become quite a popular sp at Devilish.
