Canada-Mexico Brawl at WBC

Looks like Mexico was frustrated with the ass whipping they got from Team Canada. Hitting someone after being warned by the umps after two brushback pitches is pretty in your face. Alfredo Aceves played a key role in this brawl, actually charging into the entire Canada team, landing one punch but then getting hit with numeous blows. He is the guy with the shaved head:

Mexico lost the game 10-3 before a decidely pro-Mexican crowd in Phoenix.

No suspensions for brawl

After being trounced by Italy in their first game, Canada shocked everyone by easily dispatching Mexico, who had beat the USA on their previous game. Even though disgraceful, the brawl & what led to it was extremely exciting to watch. Winner of today's USA/Canada game advances, the loser goes back to spring training.

Canada's starting pitcher is 21-yeard old Jameson Taillon, who was the 2nd overrall pick (drafted by Pittsburgh right behind Bryce Harper) and whom many say is the best young arm in baseball.

I've never seen Taillon pitch before, so i can't wait to see what this kid can do. He'll go against Derek Holland.
