Walked out of my office, I can barely breath and it looks like I'm on Mars.

New York smoke forces ground stop, delay at LaGuardia and Newark airports

Due to the smoke, the Federal Aviation Administration says a ground delay remains in place at LaGuardia Airport in Queens and Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey. There are also delays at JFK Airport.

Arrests have been made by the RCMP in some of the wildfires that were deliberately set, including three arrests in Nova Scotia. Other arrests were made in Quebec and Alberta. I had a family member in Nova Scotia almost lose their house to one of the wildfires in their neck of the woods.

I have seen some of the images coming out of New York, indeed, they are apocalyptic.
