Hi Fred,

I discovered Perb recently and found it very informative.

I recently did a website for a local group working on legal reform in
prostitution that I thought Perb and Terb members would be interested in.
If anyone feels like reviewing it I'd be interested in the feedback.

"Change the code" can be found at:

It ain't never going to be changed!

House wives will not vote for politicians that will try to change the laws. Neither will they let their husbands vote this way. The best we can hope for is that the law tolerates SPs and MPs as they are doing now.

I agree with legalization and I also agree with J. Peterman's comment about housewives' reticence. The way to push for legalization is not from the moral/libertarian angle but from the public health angle: legalization would mean that SPs (in Canada at least) would be covered by the social security net. If they contract a STD they could stop working and collect workers compensation. Under present circumstances, where they have no protection whatsoever, they are financially impelled to continue working.

J. Peterman>> except those who are/were in the sex trade ot know somebody who is/was in the sex trade... that amounts to quite alot of women. Outwardly they may express more conservative views but voting is a private matter.
