If only I knew...
Some peoples really don't have much to do... Erase the damn pictures and ground them a few days if you want but ending up in court? Teens are allowed privacy too! You can't presume about future action or boose, cars and lots of stuff would not be legal. This is insane...

No, I have absolutely no interest in porno of girls under 18, and usually not even under 21. And I would even agree with General Gonad that SPs should be at least 21.

However, I do feel that too vigorous enforcement (paranoia, imho) of sex offenders has led to a loss of common sense at worst, and a change in culture at best. Such as the 17 year-old locked up in Georgia for being with a 15 year-old. And now, another hot female teacher is being prosecuted for being with a 17 year-old boy. That's ridiculous, IMHO.

IMHO, 16 and 17 is a heckuva big difference from under 16. Some southern states have a lower age of consent at 16, and I have to admit, that sounds more sensible.

Remember:

Amy Fisher, a 16 year old SP! , with Joey Buttafuoco
Blame It on Rio
Fast Times at Ridgmont High
My Tutor
The Last American Virgin
Porky's

Today, all of these would be considered child pornography and pedophilia. Back in the 80s, no one thought twice about it.

Thankfully those two will now be permanently marked as sexual predators. I feel safer already. http://tinyurl.com/2qrfw2
An idiotic prosecution! I expect this case will be appealed to the Florida Supreme Court, and if it gets that far, I wouldn't be surprised if the U.S. Supreme Court grants certiorari.

Circumstances permitting?

I guess it would be important to consider the source, as to the fallout if any and who gets wacked. I have never understood the distinctions or the contradictions regarding morality or just plain ole common sense, but I think Hollywood is worthy of considerations. This would also include the distinction between sex and porn.

Of course film-makers play in the realm of portrayal, ethics boards offer ratings and in the end, if you’re offended by the shit, don’t cough up the money to see it. The most graphic teen sex scenes I can remember were in a movie called ‘The Lover”. Additionally, it was suggested some of the sex scenes were real, not necessarily with Jane, but real nonetheless. I guess it’s ok to have legal-aged actors or actresses, act as if they are under-aged participants getting boned or the suggestion of such.

In adding to the list BJB stated in would also include the following, Taxi Driver, Pretty Baby, The Betsy, Hardcore, Angel Heart and 8MM. 8MM is actually interesting as this one runs the gamut between teen sex, porn and snuff.

Then we have examples of female adults ceremoniously, romantically? transforming boys to men in, “The Summer of 42” and “The Ink Well”. Yes, these are certainly pale in comparison to “The Lover”, but in the end, the suggestion of underage sex remains, if only portrayed. Maybe this is where all this school teacher stuff got started.

I also remember the first time I saw a rubber. It was in school, Health Class actually. I was fifteen at the time, way back in the 60’s. In short, got the talk, got a 3 pack of party favors and was clueless what to do next. After all, it was suggested I had three more years to go before I was capable of making an intelligent decision as to how or who to use them with, as if it would ever be that simple. I spent the next three years with them in my wallet, praying for the day I would slip, fall and my dick would wind up in Ms. Nicholas, my English teacher.

Actually, I guess it would have been ok if I had consensual sex with someone under age, seeing how I was underage. Geez!, Health Class was great. I now possessed the tools and a proper knowledge? Why wouldn’t we consider the Healthcare Industries? Are there any laws prohibiting the sale of,………KY to a minor,….. flavored, heated or otherwise. Back in my day, I could have simple suggested I was using it on my bicycle chain.

Some of this stuff really troubles me. As much I love kids, I am thankful I do not have any.

It does suck

but I don't think it is as stupid as some of you think. Keep in mind, that this sets a precedent... and you know there is always going to be some perv looking for a loophole in order to be able to get away with having, obtaining or distributing child porn. It doesn't take much to imagine a shady individual having the kids take porn pictures of themselves... and possibly avoiding criminal charges. I am not familliar enough with law specifically, but I can understand that this may be a necessary evil.

JAW, the images were not distributed at large. This is same as if somebody would open your personal mail. You can't presume intent or serve preventive justice. It's wrong. As long as nobody distribute at large, they're only kids having fun!
Where's the precedent? If an adult get a hold of the pics, then procecute. Till them, they should buzz-off!
