The Chinese government has issued new orders to its broadcasters in its continuing crackdown on culture, business and social mores. This time, it called for a ban on what it termed “effeminate men,” asking instead that “revolutionary culture” be touted.

The edict is part of President Xi Jinping’s call for a “national rejuvenation,” with business and the public under orders to align with his vision for China. Previously, the regime has expressed official concerns and cracked down on youth online gaming, boy band culture, gambling, cryptocurrency and sports. The moves are part of discouraging what it sees as unhealthy attention to celebrities and certain distracting activities.

The loud mouth anti-vaxxers should be sent to China to find out what its really like to have a government control your life and freedoms. And if not China then we have another 100 countries with limited freedoms or no freedom like Afghanistan and North Korea to choose from. You don`t know how lucky you are until you lose your freedom. As someone who has lived many years in Canada US China and Singapore, I will choose China to live the rest of my life in any second. You guys just have no idea how it is like to have a system that is effective, accountable, and truly taking care of its own people. But I guess it’s not your fault, as most canadien knows nothing about the world. All you know about the world is through your very biased medi

Oh, by the way, everything is back to normal in China. You don’t need to wear a mask and there is zero chance you will catch Covid. It is the only country that has conquered the epidemic even the Delta variant.

That is a lot of bragging going on with you telling everyone here how the country that caused the whole pandemic mess has now done a wonderful job cleaning up ... not very appropriate if you ask me .....I’ve written and posted some nonsense on these boards over the years but the difference between you and me is that I usually knew it was nonsense ...

Yes, and if you are an Uyghur you get free food, a guaranteed job with plenty of exercise, a wonderful vacation camp in which to live and a complimentary vasectomy. If you are a Tibetan, you have a 20% chance of free euthanasia.

A great life in paradise indeed......but if you are a visiting Canadian then you get thrown in jail on trumped up charges . Oh and now couples are allowed up to 3 kids if they can afford it. Who is gonna look after all the old folks if not the kids ?

For one thing, the pandemic is a cause of nature ( and if you want to discuss about the possibility of being man made, please have a deep investigation of Federicksberg). Second, there are many reports showing the disease indeed happen before the Wuhan outbreak.

But, the “mess” is not a cause of nature, but failure of most governments
