Always and also, you should always bring water purifying tablets in case you're stuck without any bottled water.
You never know when traveling. They could actually save your life !

Actually it's one of the first item to bring when going on a search and rescue.
Hurricanes, Tsunamis, earthquakes don't always happen elsewhere.

Ok let me understand,in 2013 the city water supply goes up to a roof where it stays in the sunlight for days, and then it goes down towards the apts .Why not sent it directly to the apts like we do??

In Montreal these tanks we used for fire only,having 20,000 gals of water on reserve and not relying on city water pressure??

The "tank on the roof" is extremely common in USA, just think of the famous New York wooden round tanks.

I don't know if it's common in Canada but I don't think so, because of weather.

The idea is to fill the tank during low periods of usage so the water is gravity-fed to the taps during high usage, so pressure don't drop.

The fire protection is also one key point.

As Mod 11 stated these water tanks are common on the roofs of US hotels/office buildings. Did you guys ever see the movie "The Towering Inferno"? This involved a San Francisco building in which the rooftop water tanks were exploded in order to stop a raging fire consuming a high rise building. One of the greatest disaster films ever made.

The question for the cops is how this girl's body got in the tank. I don't think she voluntarily jumped in. There is apparently surveillance video of her behaving suspiciously in the hotel. They have to figure out how she got into that tank.

I am sure it is an employee that did the murder, ordinary guest do not have access to the roof and know there is a water tank up there.
