companions not answering emails

I have sent two emails to companions over the past eight days requesting a booking when Lolita and Axel travel to Boston in early September, and I have received answers to neither email. I have sent one email to [email protected] and another to [email protected]. I am a previous client of the agency, and I posted a previous thread commending Lolita on her professional handling of a booking in Montreal.

The following sentence appears on the companions website. ``Please note that the appointment booking is done by email only, be respectful and don`t page us for a booking. Someone is in front of the computer several hours per day.`` It seems that those who try to be respectful in their booking requests should be treated with equal respect by the agency.

Madmax,

Are you using an AOL email account? The AOL server may be deleting your emails. I would not assume that the companions have received your email. I have had these kinds of the problems in the past and they went away when I started using a Yahoo account.

No, I don`t use an AOL email account. I send directly from my hotmail account. companions have previously received my emails and responded promptly, so I know they have received them from my hotmail account previously. I`m concerned because the companions provide a much higher quality of service than the usual local Boston escorts and thus book up very quickly. Also, since I travel a great deal, I like to book my appointments well in advance.

I`ve had that trouble with the companions in the past too, sometimes they respond promptly to e-mail, but sometimes not. I`ve found that if you`re booking far in advance, they don`t always respond very quickly. I`ve also found that they don`t read what you write in your e-mails very carefully, I`ve had them ask a question in the reply that was already answered in the original e-mail that they were replying to.

Once I get in the room, though, my experience with the companion ladies has always been good.

Thanks, Big Hugo. I won't take it personally then. I agree entirely about your "once I get in the room" comment as well. But this kind of casual approach to emails can't be good for client relations, especially since it is the only way to make a booking with them. BTW, nine days and counting....still no reply.

Excellent post, CaptRenault. None of the reasons stated by Mlle.X apply to my situation. I`ve been a previous customer of companions and have praised them openly on this board for their service. Another Merbite suggested via pm that this problem arises for companions when Lolita is traveling, and her site says that she has been in San Francisco until yesterday. So perhaps I`ll hear something soon. But still nothing in my mailbox from them.

I think 24-48 hours standard is a reasonable one for agencies to adopt. I`m now going answerless for nine days+...NOT a reasonable situation.

Let`s look at that list for a second:

--She`s on vacation -- fair enough, but she could post a vacation notice on her website, or have an out of office autoreply set. Moreover, in Lolita`s case, if she`s out of town, the whole agency does not shut down, does it? What happens if someone is coming to Montreal that week, and wants to see one of the escorts who is NOT travelling? Do those e-mails get ignored too?

--``The servers are down`` -- possible, but unlikely for nine days, if you have any kind of professional outfit handling your traffic.

--She doesn`t have access to email everyday -- unlikely in this day and age, especially if she has a website, and if she doesn`t have access to e-mail every day, why would she make e-mail the exclusive means of contacting her? Again, as noted, the companions website makes a point of saying that they have someone in front of the computer every day.

--She`s too busy or booked up -- this cuts no weight with me. If you are advertising your services, and actively asking people to contact you via e-mail, it`s rude and unbusinesslike not to be able simply to have a standard cut-and-paste reply saying, I`m very sorry, but I`m not serving new clients at this time. How long does it take to cut-and-paste the same reply, even to 100 e-mails? 10 or 15 minutes? You could even set it as an autoreply, and then it takes no time at all.

--If you have a Yahoo or Hotmail account, then she might not consider you to be serious -- I haven`t had a Yahoo/Hotmail problem with Montreal escorts. However, most escorts insist on breaking through the anonymity barrier for security reasons, so I suppose anything that smacks of preserving anonymity might ring alarm bells with them.

With that list of excuses out of the way, let`s get to a real potential reason, which might help our friend Madmax. Maybe the damn thing just got lost in the ether. It happens, perhaps not with the frequency of snail mail, but it happens. Maybe it got lost before it got to the companions. Maybe it got mistakenly deleted before they replied. I`d send it again, with a note that it was first sent 9 days ago, and a request for prompt attention.

However, that`s not my guess as to what happened. My guess is that Lolita is handling the e-mail personally at the moment, for whatever reason, and she hasn`t checked e-mail while in San Francisco, either because she lacks remote access or she`s just too busy. I seem to recall that happening at the companions once before, and when Lolita returned she posted here to say that she was deeply apologetic and that she`d take steps to make sure it never happened again. Apparently, though, history does repeat itself.

In searching for reviews of a particular provider today, I found another example of delayed responses to e-mails by Lolita.

https://merb.cc/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3961&highlight=amy%2A+aleeva

So, several people have complained over time about the same thing at the companions. It`s a pattern, not an isolated instance.

Once I get in touch with her, I find Lolita very easy and professional to deal with, and I like the women at her agency. However, she still needs to work on more prompt and professional responses to that first e-mail.

As for computer crashes, they happen, they suck, and Lolita is hardly the only businessperson who fails to back up data on a regular basis. Although it does have a feel of ``the dog ate my homework``, I tend to believe her, because she was apologizing for missing appointments, and no high end agency wants to do that.

Hi to all,
Mad Max, [email protected] is not the right address for a date in montreal.
[email protected] is an address for u.s. touring. The next tour is in 2 weeks, so the booking will start now but didn`t earlier as I am busy with other tours and no one as in town.
FOr an appointment in montreal the right address is : [email protected]

I believe all the emails are answered, if not, maybe you use some too obvious terms, or that I simply did not receive it.

Again, I don`t understand the bashing here. All the montreals email were answered everyday even when I was not there.
My computer crashed and the schedule was lost, but mostly retrieved.
This had nothing to do with answering the emails as they are being answered.
I belive that Boston tours are not a matter in a montreal review board. As I mentionned in my previous post, the next tour is in 2 weeks, the booking did not start earlier than now.
I do not feel the need to lie to people about what happens in our company, and if my honesty turns against me well I can always start to play games like others.
I am on the computer at least 6h a day, I still need to sleep and eat. When I am out of town I still check them or Sam answers them and we did not have any problems since the first time he was left alone answering emails, wich is the simple beginners mistake.
The fact that I delete email simply erases personnal information from my email account. To me it`s only normal that this information should not stay on the web.

I received the following message this evening:

``Hi,
I believe you sent this same email to the boston account. The booking starts today.
I will fix the schedule and get back to you. ``

That`s it. Just for the record I did send my first email on August 12 to [email protected] (I actually used the ``reply`` button from an earlier email exchange with Lolita). I re-sent the email to both the Montreal and the Boston addresses on August 18. Also, while the San Francisco section of the French companions site indicate the date on which bookings will be accepted, there is no such date listed on the Boston section. Finally, with regard to the suggestion that ``maybe use some too obvious terms`` I`ll be happy to share the entire email with anyone who questions my gentlemanly prose.

I certainly didn`t want to start any ``bashing`` with my original email. I simply wanted to state a concern that I thought Lolita, as the good businesswoman she is, would want to know. I chose this method because, obviously, I had no confidence that she would see a private email including a similar concern. As long as the booking gets set up, I have no complaint. Like Hugo I find the companion women exquisite once they get to the room.

Lolita, if you wish to view any criticism as bashing, there`s not much I can do about it.

Over the last year, there have been at least three or four complaints about lack of promptness in responding to e-mails from your agency. That`s a fact. I think you even apologized about it at one point, and said you`d try harder in the future.

Criticism of a particular aspect of your operation is not bashing. If I say that the Delta Montreal has crappy towels, or that I can`t stand the elevators at the Sofitel, am I bashing those hotels? I am not. Does that mean I wouldn`t stay at either of those places again? No, it doesn`t mean that either. It means that they get negative marks for one particular aspect of their operation. That`s all it means.

The same is true of the companions. I think I`ve been very clear that I`ve always had good experiences with women from the companions. I think I`ve been very clear that, once someone makes contact with you, your operation is very polite and professional. However, I think your agency gets low marks for the way it responds to incoming e-mails. That`s my experience, and apparently it`s the experience of others too.

That`s not bashing. I`m sorry you interpret it that way, but I believe it`s valid. Think of it as a client concern. Some businesses respond proactively to client concerns, some don`t, do as you see fit, but I don`t think that accusing us of bashing you and saying things like ``if my honesty turns against me well I can always start to play games like others`` is a useful way to respond.

Lolita has been very reliable. I sent her couple of e-mails few weeks ago and she replied to me in 2 days.
If you have problems just keep trying.

I belive I am alos one of the victims of that "hard drive crash" from several days ago.
yes, the initial emails were answered except for the very last one that would have confirmed the date.

Scheduling problem? It's not a big deal, if you live in/near Montreal. For those who travel to Montreal, it IS a big deal.

Anyway, this has happened to me twice, so I am just gonna give up on this agency.

Bizzie,

You are welcome to do that. The way I look at it, it`s one less guy to compete against for bookings, especially with Melissa`s eagerly anticipated arrival Sept. 12.

If you don`t live near Montreal, always have a plan B and plan C for these situations. If you don`t, it`s on you. This can happen with any agency out there, just so happens that companions has one of the better staffs, so to me the risk/reward ratio is very good as long as plan B and plan C are in place.

The problem is that my preferred Plan B and Plan C often involves agencies and ladies that need or want advance notice.

So, when something happens, I often wind up with Plan Y or Plan Z, which are nowhere near as much fun as I expected from Plans A, B, or C.

This is why I tend to stick with advance appointments with HDH agencies or agencies with proven reputations for service (like Satin Dreamz). If you deal with the right sorts of people, appointments rarely get cancelled on you. (Unless they get a call from a regular customer or someone wanting a longer appointment, there was a thread about that a while ago, but if I mention the name of the agency involved I'll just get accused of bashing again, so you'll have to rely on your own memories).

As for Melissa, the pix are nice, but there are lots of nice looking escorts, some provide excellent service, and some don't. Unless I'm TOFTT, I want to hear about the quality of service first.

Hello,

I believe the trip is still a few weeks away. Don't panic since they may be trying to coordinate requests. But if you don't get a reply at least one week before the arrival date...then I would say an emergency has arisen.

Good luck,

Korbel

Just thought I would give you all an update on my ongoing communication problems with the companions. You may remember that I have been trying to book a few hours with Lolita when she and Axel come to Boston, September 6-10. After weeks with no replies, and then one curt email I finally received the following message on August 25, reproduced here in full.

HI,
Axel could be available, do you want to see her??
Lolita xxx

I responded immediately saying that I only wanted to see Lolita not Axel and that I would like to know about whether she was available any of the five advertised days in Boston. Today, seven days later, still no reply.

I have received numerous pms from companion clients who admit that they have had the same difficulties with the agency but are fearful of saying so in public because they fear reprisals such as refusals to book them. Gentlemen, we have a big problem here in my estimation.
