Another proof that guns are dangerous to everyone...

Give a gun to everyone and nobody is safe...

I have a close personal friend who is an FBI agent in NYC and he told me he never had his service weapon accidentally discharge once in 30 years. He isn’t really much of a dancer though.

This raises a lot of questions beyond the FBI agent's general stupidity.

Was the FBI agent on duty?

Was he drinking?

Was he investigating Trump?

How many ass hole cops have you met? I have met plenty that do not deserve to be in uniform or in the service. The FBI and RCMP have no shortage of ass holes.

Now imagine when you give those gun to regular nobody ass holes!! This is exactly why a complete ban on gun is the only solution.

Cheers,

A lot of ex FBI agents end up working in security for large corporations. That is a more likely landing place if he gets fired. Mall cop would be a landing place for a similarly disgraced State Police Officer. Having FBI on the resume does have some cachet.

The question is, why wasn't his security lock on? I doubt it reversed while the gun droped...

In any case such an irresponsible act from this idiot.

There is a scissor safety on the trigger of Glock guns ( standard issue for FBI field agents ) He stick his finger in the trigger when he picked it up.

I wasn't that familiar with this one, weird system. The beretta safety is on the cannon, much better place if you ask me.

Yes there is a scissor safety on the trigger of Glock guns, it has to be depressed to fire the gun. There is also a block safety on the grip of the gun, but because the gun was laying on the floor the safety was off and the FBI agent made the mistake of picking up the gun by inserting his finger in the trigger guard and pressing the trigger.

Glocks are only popular because of their brilliant marketing to agencies, there are many better sidearms.

Regarding the agent carrying while off duty, many agencies require their agents to carry at all times. Many are on call 24/7.

My FBI Agent buddy told me he doesn’t like the Glock. He finds it “blocky.” Before Glock the FBI had a contract with a German gun manufacturer called Sig Sauer for their service weapons. He told me he liked the Sig much better. He told me why they FBI went from Sig to Glock and my understanding is from his view it was for reasons other than the quality of the weapon.

This guy reaches his level of incompetence at 29 years old, previously he was a captain in the army and then became a FBI agent but he will go no further with this stain on him.
