HPV vaccine is safe for people under a certain age. Otherwise it costs money. I think if you see SP it's important to get it.
Different people say different things.. Maybe I'm wrong. But in any case, it's all risky for everyone.

I like to think the fact that hobbyists in Mtl have at least a few hundred $ to spare + socialized healthcare means they look after themselves and are clean.
But coming from the U.S. - where the vast majority of (very expensive) providers don't do BBBJ - seeing how available it was in Mtl was both awesome and a little scary.
I'll speak for myself.. I don't really have sex with anyone outside of this right now. Since I started being a provider almost 4 years ago, I only had 3 sexual partners outside of this. Most providers I know practice safe sex and are well aware of risks. It's not on us to prevent STI in this context. Providers have the right to have a sex life outside of this as well.. From a few things I've read here, I realized that some people assume that providers get STI's only from unprotected intercourse but that is not the case, aside from HIV. Of course unprotected penetrative sex is the riskiest activity but that doesn't mean oral sex isn't. You can even get an STI from sharing sex toys or sharing fluids in a different way.. Like for instance during a duo even if there's no oral sex, if a client fingers a provider and then fingers the other he could pass something between them.
I think you assume that guys who seek sexual services look after themselves maybe because you do. It also has nothing to do with being ''clean''. It has to do with getting tested frequently and minimizing risks. A lot of guys told me they only get tested once or twice a year. Look in other threads you'll find a ton of hobbyists who are convinced BBBJ and DATY aren't risky. A lot of people wait until they have symptoms to get tested because that's how they were educated. In reality often STI's are asymptomatic and they don't necessarily show up on tests right away.
People come to Montreal specifically for this. We offer clients what they want because that's how the market is here .. If a girl refuses to see a guy because he has something weird on his dick he might write a nasty review about her.
Fair enough. But I've seen numerous SPs and clients on this site say they've never contracted anything (after getting tested regularly) from BBBJ so I think generally, people are doing something right. Unless they're lying and I'm being naive. But point taken, the responsibility is on all of us.
How do you know they are being honest? I've never gotten anything from BBBJ either but I know a ton of people in and out of the industry who have, and it's not because they are less clean. They were just unlucky. Nobody wants to admit they had an STI. It's super taboo. I've also see a lot of clients on this site say that they only get tested twice a year. Not only that but last summer I used to get a ton of requests for BBFs. I don't know if it was the same person harassing me with different phone numbers, but the fact that a lot of clients seek that is concerning to me
It's not about doing something right. I just wish the culture changed a little bit. No matter how much you get tested, there is still a risk.
I had a virtual doctor's appointment a few years ago and he asked if I had unprotected intercourse with someone whose history I wasn't aware of. I said no, but I asked why he didn't include or specify oral and he pretty much waved it off. He said It's unlikely to get anything from giving daty. I was very surprised. Still pretty unbelievable.
That's crazy honestly... You can absolutely give or get an STI with daty. If you go to any sexual health clinic they will tell you that it's possible to get multiple STI from oral sex. Sexual education is clearly not the priority in North America or at least it wasn't until the past few decades.. I remember my sex ed classes in high school. We were very clearly told that oral sex was one of the most common ways STIs get transmitted.
That lack of education is why people think girls who don't offer daty or bbbj are just selfish providers who don't enjoy what they're doing or "don't want to work".. personally I love giving oral sex and I love bbbj (as most ppl here have noticed lol) but at first I really didn't want to partake because of the risks. I quickly realized I wouldn't get clients or I would at least get a very very low volume of clients if I don't offer it... Even when I charged under agency rates I still got pressured into offering GFE.
One nurse I saw basically assumed BBBJ was the norm. She asked me do you put a condom for BJs she practically assumed I don’t which is fair cause the big majority of people don’t.
For DATY she seemed more careful with it though. The nurse would have looked at me weird if I had told her I do cbj all the time (which is not the case at all)

True most people don't use condoms when performing oral sex with new partners.. that's fairly normal.
But we're talking about a specific context. We're sex workers, we do GFE with many men for a living. The level of risk depends on how many partners the person had. It's not that common for people to have sex with 4-7 individuals (or more) every week, unless they are sex workers.
Its the same thing on our end.. if a client just sees me or only sees a few people every year and gets tested regularly there is a lower risk but if a client frequently sees providers there's more of a chance he'll carry a STI, particularly if he doesn't have proper sexual education and believes he can't get anything from bbbj or daty....
One of my friends had chlamydia in her throat before just from seeing one dude. She was just unlucky and she's not even a provider or a promiscuous person
