If you have not seen it here is the video:

CBS had put out a statement that Serene's problem on air was "health related", and then suddenly the statement was retracted and taken off its website. Serene's agent has denied any health related issue, and says she wants to go back on the air.

Should CBS let her back on the air without any medical testing? Does anyone know what is wrong with Serene? Does anyone know what she was trying to say? I could not make it out.

I have observed someone having a grand mal seizure and this did not look like the same thing. I am wondering if this was what they call "TIA" (Transient Ischemic Attack)

I surely do not know and I am not qualified to diagnose but talk about a bad day at work? I have blown some presentations.
BTW what kind of medical problem did this reporter have? Diagnose this one EB.

If only I knew...
I am not an expert in any way but from what I have seen, this is a minor brain stroke. A friend of mine suffered from this and is now stuck speaking that way almost permanently. He know what he want to say but he can't say it correctly. He mixes up words, verbs and all. If he does not concentrate very hard, he will talk to you and the flow sound totally natural but what he say makes no sense. Depending on the level of damages, some people will notice they make no sense but other don't. For Serene Branson it look like it was temporary and she noticed quasi immediately. Hopefully people around her will convince her to get checked. The next one might do a lot more damages.

A heart stroke would not to that. She showed no weaknesses, her face's color is normal (maybe makeup). She did not look like about to faint.

It could have been a T.I.A. (Transient Ischemic Attack)

Similar to a stroke (in a milder form), and often a sign of an oncoming CVA (Cerebral Vascular Accident) or stroke if no medical attention is sought out.
