Very good comments Halloween Mike, for me as I am a little at risk I will meet only girls on this site and who didn't advertise during the crisis.

So I wouldn't have to fill out this template, if I understood correctly. I imagine that if I had to meet news girls often in agencies, it would have been a little bite boring.

Great project!

I wonder how previous reviews would fit in this.
I guess it's a subject yet to come :)

Do you thinking about a SP data base ?

Moved from a place ( agency or city) to another and with date of mooving?

Piercing where?

What about SP retired or out the busness momentaly ? Are you considering create a new section like Tombées au combat ;)

In conclusions reviews must not become a chore otherwise you will see them dwindle down even more than they already have. Honestly i started reviewing on TER only because i wanted to see some reviews (get the VIP) because otherwise man its not fun to be a first time review. So many questions, take forever to answer them all and most of my replies end up being "no idea"

I agree about not making it a chore, but most of the subjective ones above seem fine to me. Personality, value for money, etc. They are subjective but a quick note on them gives you a sense of the reviewer's opinion.
I would find value for money more interesting than repeat. Some people hate repeating because they crave variety. Others love repeating because they think they build a better rapport.

I do agree that service level is a can of worms if people don't agree on acronyms. I'd probably drop that one because I'm not sure people will ever agree and also because there is so much YMMV anyway.

tbh, the length of the review template would discourage me to have any future reviews. I am kind of lazy, unless they make it in a form with pull-down selection fields.

reviews must not become a chore otherwise you will see them dwindle down even more than they already have.

I introduced a friend to MERB a couple months ago. I had to take him by the hand and explain to him that in order to see reviews for Montreal he had to subscribe and create an account. He didn't get it and understand the reasons for all other Quebec regions including the Maritimes being accessible for reviews and not Montreal. It's not indicated anywhere to have to subscribe to be able to access the "special hidden" Montreal review section. Make all review sections available only to members and clearly indicate it or open them all.

Maybe that's the main reason reviews have dwindled since the Montreal section has been hidden to non members without any indication whatsoever to new visitors to entice them to become members and write reviews.

Another reason that probably pushes away new members is the bitchy comments from seasonned members about opening discussions that have already been done in depth three years ago. Also moderators deleting started threads without indications or private messages because the subject was already discussed in depth 6 years ago when I asked why two of my threads got deleted.

Essentially open up all review sections or close them all down and clearly indicate it. Also lighten up and stop acting like grumpy old men towards new members and the community will grow and hence reviews :)

Keeping a light template is a great idea to remind a reviewer of the essentials with also leaving a creative writing section.

Disagree, if you want access to reviews, write one. I think they should be locked and allowed only to be viewed by people who have submitted min of one a year. Too many lurkers. It’s not shyness that prevents them from writing reviews, it’s a parasitic nature.

Sure we can lighten up and be nicer.
