*** IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL MEMBERS ***

In an effort to keep this board as clean of false posters, shills and similar disturbances as possible, please note the following change in policies:

As before, we won't react on suspicious activities/shills unless we can back those up with provable facts. One of the acceptable proofs are the use of more than one handle by the same person, regardless who this person is, being an agency owner, a service provider, a client, a shill or not, either positive or negative, whatever.

Given the current degradation of Merb posting behavior, we are not going to give any more chance, nor any private warning prior to our actions.

1) Duplicate handles will be exposed here, in this thread.

2) The member will be given a 24 hours period to let the Mods know (whichever Mod posted about them), by PM, which handle they want to keep from now on (obviously only ONE).

3) Failure to reply within 24 hours will result in ALL handles to be banned, instead of at least keeping one.

Please behave accordingly. ONE single post using a different handle by the same person can result in all of your handles being banned.

Please note: As it is now, any banned member can NOT be reinstated by the Mods, but only by Fred Zed.

Le Roi / chatter - Final decision

This post is the second and last I will make in regards to the chatter/Le Roi situation...

First, a mea culpa: I didn`t take proper action when I banned Le Roi handle initially. The initial post in this thread stipulates that "The member will be given a 24 hours period to let the Mods know (whichever Mod posted about them), by PM, which handle they want to keep from now on (obviously only ONE).". Since there was sufficient evidence, I went ahead and banned Le Roi right away. *** End of mea culpa ***

Now a few clarifications...

1) When I banned the "Le Roi" handle, it was based on evidence that "Le Roi" and "chatter" handles have been used on the same computer on multiple occasions (different computers), regardless on the posts contents.

2) We have no way of determining if the person behind the screen is the same person or not, as we obviously have no camera and don`t take pictures of you guys when you post. We therefore act upon technical information, and this information led to a confirmation that "Le Roi" and "chatter" were indeed handles used on the same machines, and those machines were not from Internet cafés or otherwise shared to the public.

3) It is obvious from your posts as chatter that I was right in my suspicions, since you are in fact replying and posing yourself as being "Le roi" while posting your defense using the "chatter" account.

4) Nowhere did I mention that Le Roi/chatter were shilling. NOWHERE. I so far had no confirmation that you were in fact shilling or not, and in doing my job as fairly as possible, I did not imply that. This came from other members, probably helped by your very arrogant posts re "intelligent" replies.

Based on the recent posts in the Jena thread, here is my final decision.

a) The Jena thread is to be locked now. I am not going to remove any other post by chatter or Le Roi, as this would be like removing evidence.

b) Both Le Roi and chatter handles are permanently banned. I suggest you to register a new name, forget about your old "life" and start a new one. If you are indeed two persons, then make sure to both post from your own respective computers in the future, otherwise the same thing will most likely happen again.

c) If anyone want to comment on this situation, please do it privately. Any more public comment may result in an immediate suspension. I do not want to be participating in this discussion in public, and going against our own rules and cluttering the board by doing so.

Brazilian Babe / Important note

As a result of all the shilling done by Juliana with all those handles, she sent the mods an email in which she appologizes for her actions and asked us to remove all reviews about her.

As per her request and our goal to keep this board as objective as humanly possible, good AND bad reviews have to disapear together. We therefore decided to remove the whole Brazilian Babe thread, the thread about Real Therapeutic Massage ending with HJ, as well as a few individual posts about her in other threads.

Of course, we do not approve of shilling, and we do everything in our power, as you have seen, to stop it. However, we also do not approve of harassment because of our discoveries. We have rules, the sanctions were applied....

If any of you do telephone harassment, fake appointments, etc, you are no better than the shillers. Since this is obviously out of our jurisdiction, our only hope is that this kind of behavior (harassment, fake appts) will not take place and/or will stop.

The Gambling_Dude handle will remain. I encourage him to continue posting comments and reviews about the escort business, while keeping the gambling related ads in the "MERB Advertisers Only - Updates and Announcements" section.
