finding. Winter carpets on a 2007 honda civic..

Hello fellow merbites...
I think this site regroups lots of intelligent and very informed people even though we are very horny bastards!
I just purchased a 2007 honda civic......manual....and i just notice that the front section between the pedals has about an 8 inch clearance..
All winter carpets at canadian tire are much too wide at the top...and wont fit. even after the cutting.. I know honda dealers have them for 140$......but i find that too steep......
Funny how i would spend that easily for an SP but not carpets...
All a matter of priorities..
Any idea out there ??? , you new 2 door civic owners!

All carpets can be cut to fit the shape of your car.

If you do not mind it looking a little funny any CDN Tire rubber carpet can be cut to shape your car. If you want the luxury carpet look of a Lexus, you can go to CDN Tire, reno depot or Home depot and get runner carpets ( the carpets you put your front hall of your house near the front door ) You could cut that to shape your car. At a quick glance you could not tell them from a luxury factory carpet.

need something deep.....canadian tire carpet dont work.....i tried,.,..if i cut...it will leak.....sounds stupid huh,.......yes...but its like that!
