French Terms (of endearment?) - HELP!!

I need help!

I recently had an outcall with an SP from Devilish in Montreal (already reviewed in other area). Well, when all was said and done, she referred to me a few times as a "little man"

Now, her english is passable, but she had trouble with this phrase. Apparently, she was translating from a french term that is used. I was obviously very concerned about what she meant by that, but she insisted that it was a positive term - "a good thing", she said.

Does anyone know what the french phrase is she might be referring to, and perhaps a better translation that doesnt imply smallness in stature, dick size, or ego?

I'd appreciate the help!!!

Honestly... I am trying to translate it in any way possible and it all comes back to one of the things you mentionned. The only other translation I can see is "mon p'tit bonhomme" meant the same way as a mother talking to her son "your my little man".

As you can see Espitzer, it all depends of the context.
So a bit as in English actually:
a buddy can say "hey little man" as a joke,
an opponent can say "you're just a lil man" as an insult and so on.
I suspect she was joking.

These are two words that will not work well with an American in the bed room, especially when true...lol.

Personally, I don't have list of endearments. I just say what comes to mind at the moment. Once it was: "mon beau petit trésor". Gee I hope I got that right.

Espitzer, I think you are reading too much into the comment. You said yourself, "her english is passable". She was probably trying to make a literal translation of a french expresion. Not every saying can be translated exactly. There's a guy at work we call "p tit cul". The literal translation is "little ass". Meaningless in english, but quite acceptable in french. It's unfortunate that you are left with a bad taste in your mouth, but I'm sure you would have known if she was making fun of you.

As someone else said, if she wanted to make fun of you, you would have felt it.
