good upscale bars/lounges to relax?

coming to MTL for a long weekend with a university buddy in Feb, gonna have some fun with XO and Euphoria of course, but in the meantime we'll probably want to go out after the deed to grab a drink and oogle more girls, are there any recommendations for bars/lounges in the city where you find stylish/attractive women?

W Hotel mezzanine level lounge is where the "upscale lounge" action is, and it's also a younger crowd. I actually staged a mini escort party with Euphoria escorts and my friends in that lounge. It gets crowded later in the evening. Drinks are very expensive.

Anywhere on Crescent Street- maybe not as upscale as W mezzanine lounge but plenty of nightlife options all within the 3 blocks north from Rene Levesque. Winnies, Weinstein and Gavino's, Thursday's are some of the better known bar restaurants there. There are other spots as well.

The same friends of mine I staged the Euphoria party with went to a club called Panda and raved about it. I think it's on St. Denis. I did not end up joining them out after the party that night.

From the standpoint of variety I would suggest starting out at Crescent Street and just hop from bar to bar. If it is not upscale enough for you, then head to W Hotel. If that isn't upscale enough for you then you will not find anything that is.

Agree with EB, the Wunderbar is a great (and expensive) place.

But if you stay on Crescent you will not "feal" montreal. Venture yourself a bit up north on the plateau on Mont-Royal street and area. This is where the young Quebecoise are

I agree with Jalimon, the Plateau will give you the Montreal experience, that's where you find the French population that is unique in North America.
If that is too exotic and you're looking stricly for the upscale experience, then Griffintown area, Notre Dame street, has a good mix of clubs and good food.
If you are into big clubs with World Class DJs then New City Gas is a fun place to dance and hook up.

Maxim!! Go to the train station. There is a food court, grab a table and a drink and enjoy the show. It is not upscale but you will have a great show. It is the main link in between several office buildings in Montreal so you will get lots of sexy women walking by as well as sitting around you. Once you figure out the flow of traffic grab your table next to it! The place is called, "Central Station" in French, "Gare Centrale". Plenty of close by bars to go to after to have your upscale drink. Actually, after the show you might just be calling back XO or Euphoria.
