Mozilla prepares for Firefox 3 release and plans for 3.1

Mozilla has announced that June 17 is the official date of the much-anticipated Firefox 3 release. Developers and open source software enthusiasts are planning parties all over the world to celebrate the occasion. I'll be covering the release from Mozilla headquarters in Mountain View at the official Camp Firefox event.


Mozilla is encouraging users to participate, too, by helping the Firefox team set the record for the most software downloaded in 24 hours. The total number of unique downloads that take place on release day will be submitted for potential inclusion in the Guinness World Records. Over a million users have already signed up to pledge their support.

So is there any advantage to downloading FF3 aside from speed?

I use IE, FF, and Opera.
From my own experience:
FF loads easily any of the escort agencies website I throw at him
Opera is the 2nd nicest apart issues of loading XXXtase's + Mtl Hot Girls 's website.
my IE is just ok but would from times to times crash or refuse to load couple of php based web sites despite lots of troubleshootings.
To a more serious extent -> FF is my King for couple of very specific features that address my needs:
-their awesome load of add-ons which makes FF a never-ending modular/tweaking browser
-support for latest web security technologies
-pdf converter imbedded in the browser (FF3 is supposed to have this embedded)
-Their easy tab-grouping is amazing
-Amazing embedded download manager

FF is way more than GFE..it's PSE my friends!!!

it also have a good pop-up blocker.
I can't really talk about Opera since I never use it.
I've been a long fan of Netscape and Mozilla is the closest I know about.
