In case you were wondering whether the U.S. was supporting the right side in Iraq, this story that features Baharin Kandal, the 32 year old female Kurdish Commander of the East Side of the ISIS battle for Kobane. It's likely that she's the commander of the all woman Pesmerge combat unit called "The Pesmerge Force for Women", who have earned a reputation for bravery & skill on the battlefield. As they're succeeding in pushing back ISIS from their homes you have to chuckle knowing that these misogynistic Islamic Radicals are being beaten by the very gender they hope to subdue.

The U.S has been at war with Iraq for 34 years. What is the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result. U.S. foreign policy in the middle east is insanity.
