I think Quebec may be the only place in the world where the government has a special unit titled "The Language Police". God forbid you should speak in English in Quebec.! God forbid the signs on business's are predominately English. Don't Forget the French lettering on the business signs must be twice the size of the English lettering! The present Government & past Governments have their priorities all wrong! Instead on focusing so much on language, they should focus more on lowering taxes & attracting new business! I had this happen for one day and found that if I accessed the site in French there was no problem, it seemed to be a problem with the English access only. If you note also there is a different method of access to the adult section in English than French. The ads are what they are whether or not you access via French or English

It's such a tiring knee jerk reaction, especially when it's absolutely irrelevant to the discussion. As for 123, from day one I've had issues (whatever language), it stops showing postings after viewing a few pages, if I really want to, I have to delete my cookies to start seeing them again, but nowadays I barely bother. It may be a counter measure against copiers or something, but they're also punishing their visitors.
I too have to agree with Daiko, it's long overdue that the language issue be dropped. I have no problem with French people switching to English for me and I am bilingual. In a lot of cases when they detect an accent they switch and sometimes it pisses me off that they have done so as it then limits my opportunity to use my French. Who cares about the size on a sign, I'm sure God has better things to do than worry about whether or not we speak English French or anything else.
