Is there an age when it becomes harder to ejaculate?

For me, yes; in my 50's.

For most of my life I was lucky if I could get 10 strokes in before cuming. In my 50's it was like a switch flipped. Most times I have to take matter into my own hands to finish.

Having said that, just last week I was with a new 23 y.o. and I was back to my old self. She jumped on cowgirl style and in a couple of minutes I was cuming.

I think it is a combination of age and lots of masturbation.

Yes. As the above poster mentioned it's starts to become harder for most men to reach ejaculation in their late 40's or early 50's. Not all mind you.

The advice? Drink more water. Not liquids, but more water and less caffeine and almost no Alcohol. Alcohol really does a number on testosterone and the effects on testosterone become worse as you get older.

I'm 36 and unless my partner is tight I will almost never finish unless it's done by hand and even then it could not happen.

Wow, so I`m not the only one with this issue? Hmmm...? If I take something like Viagra, it does allow me to get hard with a girl I don`t already know, but it does nothing to allow me to ejaculate buckets of cum. Oh well, that is what being in your 50`s is all about I guess. I hear when you`re in your 60`s you get back into your prime like you were in your 20`s (LOL, or COL, Cry Out Loud). There are 3 things here: ejaculating, sperm production, and getting hard. Who cares about how much sperm you produce. It`ll only see the inside of a rubber bag. Getting hard. That can be cured with Viagra, or by going a few days before a session and trying not to get hard and let it all leak out, as in with a long session. Now ejaculating, that is what I`d like to do a lot of. I think the hydration will help.

So I guess I`ll take Bikone`s advice and drink no alcohol, drink lots of water, take no caffeine, and pray to the semen Gods to give me more !

The one thing that does seem to work, sort of, is to go see an MT who can offer good firm hand contact, do not allow her to suck on me or in any way drain my juices (not so much fun) then get into a good position with lots of tit-sucking-to-completion (TSTC) with a good firm HJ. That works.

So, having a Red Bull and then a glass of wine with my companion, then dinner and a vodka and another wine, was a BAD idea. OK, I get it.

You are not asking the right question. It is not ejaculating that becomes more difficult with age. It is erectile function or staying hard for longer periods that becomes the issue.

A lot of guys confuse ejaculatory issues with hydration issues. If you get drunk and don't hydrate yourself yeah, ejaculation will be a problem because of dehydration. If you keep yourself properly hydrated there shouldn't be a problem. It is erectile functionality that declines with age.

See my revised post.
I'm saying to stay erect, you need to keep your semen inside as much as possible till the end. Then you say contradictory things EagerBeaver (and no offense intended) you say people confuse ejaculation issues with hydration then you say hydration does effect ejaculation. So, you disagree with yourself but I agree on the hydration thing helping.

So, my point on erections is that you need to keep your shit together before you go in for the kill, and Viagra ,or the like, certainly helps with the erection aspect. It does not help you produce more semen, or any semen for that matter. It doesn't help you produce sperm either. Only helps with erections. If I play it cool, I can get an erection for some time. My quest is that I just seek buckets of semen. Is there a way to get your body to produce that. According to this post, water is the key.

Oh well.........maybe abstinence for a full week may also help???

Speak for yourself, Beav. Actually, he is asking the right question. Ejaculation/orgasm (which are connected but not the same) and erection are separate issues.

Speaking for myself, ejaculation/orgasm has become more difficult with age. Erection, on the other hand, has not.

Hydration, for me at least, a non-drinker, is not an issue. Wrong on all counts, Beav. We are all different.

43 is also the age at which I first experienced ED. It came during the middle of intercourse. Suddenly went limp with someone I had been with many times before and never had the same issue. Fortunately it's just an occasional issue and totally overcome by taking Cialis. With Cialis my pecker is harder than a horny bull's prick in spring.

The younger guys who have premature ejaculation issues due to sexual inexperience are advised to have a glass of wine to settle their nerves.

Hydration that is appropriate and abstinence will both improve semen load. The guys I have heard complain about dry ejaculations were mostly drinking like fish, not taking care to hydrate and not taking into account basic facts of human biology. Especially as you get older you have to be more careful with all of these things and proper exercise and conditioning becomes more important for sexual performance at the best of your abilities.

At 67 years old I have issues, over the last 10 years performance has dropped off. Also my waist band has expanded. At 6'3" i have dropped my weight from 250 lbs and am now at 225, Erections are better but I still need some help. I seamed to be at my peak in my mid 40's when I weighed between 185 and 195 lbs. I won't get that low again, but am exercising more and my erections are getting better. I guess age and weight are the two biggest problems. If you still get a early morning erection due to a full bladder then its a fitness issue. Also choosing the right partner.

Interesting question. Harder in what sense?

Reaching orgasm or staying hard until the end? Because it does happen that you can come not fully erected.

Personnally I'm in 50's and I'm happy that in the last years it takes me more time to come. Besides age/health, 2 factors come into play I think: Shaving and experience.

I heard the Doc Mailloux(Ya I know what you might think) say that shaving makes your skin less sensitive, and I found that true since I can now shave without lube or cream which was not possible in the past.
Although shaving done right before acting is making my balls more sensitive it's also a more risky thing.

As for experience, it's obvious that I will take more time to come with a regular partner than with a new attractive, teasing partner.

Some previous post mentioned quantity of sperm was not important, I think that it's important, I find that a large quantity gives me more pleasure, therefore waiting 2 or 3 days is worth it.

Cheers

Its more an issue of excess weight than age. Loose weight and see if that helps before going to the Meds..I've never had to use Meds as I stay in shape. Taking Zinc and Maca also helps.

In what form and amount do you take Zinc? I've heard of this before. Does this help with erections? I am focussed on have gallons of ejaculate, so I'm putting hydration and no alcohol as my top priorities next time. What is Maca ? Type and dosages would help and how often do you take this stuff or is it every day?

I think its different for everyone and for whatever age range they are presently in. I'm late 50's and have not had anything resembling any sort of regular sex for 2 years or so. I was so dialed up the last time in Montreal (a year ago) I came while datying an sp prior to full sex. How sad is that? I think regular sex would help, but if I see a rock pile and think there is a snake in there I'll likely come too. Thanks for the time gents.

That's been my experience. Definitely there is a correlation between increasing age and the ability to have a firm erection, but I have not noticed a specific trend toward ejaculation difficulties as men age.

For me it not an erection problem, is to restart for a second SOG in an hour, maybe a 1h15 1h30 session would help,
I like take 1 hours to take care of the girl, not only for me, and to get a second SOG, it ake more time to recharge
the gun than few year ago...

On my last Mtl visit, I booked one session with an SP for 90 mins and she could not get me to cum the second time. Erection yes but no climax. Next session was for 2 hrs with another SP and I recovered within 90 mins and very easily climaxed with her.

I think that to some extent it is how comfortable you are with the SP and how you "sync". The second one offered me the sort of passion that I was looking for in a partner.
