Whao... She says "I discovered there is a cure for HIV (...) I want to get the cure for myself and others (...) the cost is $15 000 per person" (for the cure)...
This is not true. There is no cure for HIV, as of now. This is total bogus.

This appears to be a scam. There is no cure for HIV or AIDS. Either she is deliberately trying to scam people or she is just deluded and doesn't really know any better. And Magic Johnson does not have AIDS. He is HIV positive but, like many HIV positive people, has never developed AIDS. There is a big difference between the two. I have no idea if Lara Roxx has developed AIDS either. But considering Lara Roxx's history, I doubt that any money she raises will be going to any kind of research or treatment.

Hey take it easy on this girl. One thing for sure is that she has AIDS and she need help. So there's no SCAM there.
I don't know how it works in Quebec but isn't there gouvernment help for those with HIV. Now if there's a treatment not available in Quebec, I don't see what's wrong with asking for help to raise money for such treatment.
Now All she need is someone who can market her properly. And supply more details on her quest for help. I wouldn't just fork money like that not nowing what she'll do with it. I would verify that all is legit.
What ever happened with her lawsuit towards the porn industry. They guy that gave her the virus had a clean bill of health on paper when he filmed with her.

Yes there are a few treatments not available in Québec. Most are recommended by your friendly local shaman...
The same who sells herbs for cancer...Also there is no such thung as a cure for HIV, it does not exist, it never has. There a few well documented cases of remission, of disappearance of viral load, etc, as mentionned by Equaninimity. There are also a lot more people who on tritherapy have an undetectable viral load for years and years--it does not mean they are cured, it means they is no progression of their disease for X years... until maybe the virus mutates and becomes resistant to the treatment.
I have a huge problem with her starting a "foundation" for herself (even though she claims for others too) when there are already many HIV related foundations. That is the scam I refer to . If she wants to do good, she should contact these organisations and become a spokesperson for them. Now that would be constructive. Relating her story of getting hIV with a partner who had a "normal test" would hit hard and be more efficient. Now I am not saying she is responsible for this scam, she could be, she could not be. She could be manipulated by someone who makes her think there is a cure and convinced her to start the foundation to rakc in the $$... But the thing is a scam.
