I was sure he was gonna win, but not that way lol.

What peoples seem to forget about Connor is that his losses were not against chumps. He fough some of the very best. His only loss that could be a bit "questionable" after his rise to fame/title is against Diaz but Diaz is one tough guy, he is a hot head so he often does not receive the credit he should, i don't think its shamefull to loose to him. Other losses like against Mayweather in a boxing match, i mean did anybody really expected him to win? Guy go fight the undefeated boxing champ with a record of 49-0 (at the time) lol

Im personally happy to see Connor back in the UFC. Even if Cowboy's best days are being, its still a great win.

I picked McGregor to win, just not in under a minute. Great to see him comeback after all that time off. Only thing I would have liked to have seen more of was just that, more. He's a beast and I would have liked to have seen him go a few rounds to get a feel for how good (or bad) he would have looked. Interesting fight options coming up for him, different weight classes to choose from and since last nights fight was over so quickly he can get back in the ring as soon as he's cleared to fight.

Not so sure about that. He has a fight coming up and then takes off for Ramadan. So Kabib won’t be ready for a Connor rematch until September ish. Or at least that’s what the peeps on ESPN said. Conner said he wants to fight 4x this year if possible. He may have to keep busy elsewhere. Even though I would really like to see a Kabib rematch as well.

I like McGregor because he’s almost always entertaining , inside and outside the octagon. But yesterday’s fight was pretty disappointing for anyone who paid PPV for a 40 second knockout, not a lot of action if you ask me . It was a mismatch from the start but that’s the way martial arts/boxing is sometimes I guess .
In the end both fighters got what they wanted, Ceronne got his payday and McGregor made his long awaited comeback
I still hope we get to see more Conor fights and I hope he gets a rematch with Nurmagomedov . But if he intends to beat KN the next time they meet he needs to pick stronger opponents going forward so as to better prepare and test himself ,,,he just recently came back so it’s only normal that they wanted him to take on an easy opponent ,,, so for this time around only I’ll give him the benefit of the doubt
