I agree with you that a lot of the reviews are in bad taste and demeaning in one way or another. but the participation, opinions & interactions of the escorts on this board gives you some insight into what some of them are really like and not the drug addicted objects that some people perceive all escorts to be.
Couldn't agree with you more johnnybird. Easy to write whatever behind a screen and be what ever you want to be. Eventually you can weed through the board and meet real people on board and off.
Most of merb reviewers don't rate SP like a car (object) but rather rate them like any human that offers services as Doctor, Plumber, Carpenter, Painter, etc.
This is not a question of a human considered as an object in that case but When you offer a service, you must accept that you may be "reviewed" somehow because people want to get the best out of their money.
And unfortunately in the escort field, a lot of money is involved and there is no quality control and scamming is very common.
Merb, somehow, changed the game in that matter. Merb is not the perfect cure though.
But I believe that the more the community grows, the less people will get scammed.
Does merb encourage women to become escorts? Well, not sure, but Merb encourage them to do it Right!
Well actually I started to book escorts pre internet pre any escort forums .
Escorting was different but to attract clients the recipe was not any different then what it is now .
Good looking girls with service service service .period .
The ones that did it right where successful and the ones that where not eventually left .
The difference now is that there is a third and fourth and fifth party involvement

Actually it's showing much respect for the fine lady when a client understands, accepts, and follows the YMMV golden rule. Just because it's using "car" language, in absolutely no way is there an implication that a woman is an inanimate machine. Maybe what is wrong in your world is how seriously you take your feelings and mistake them for someone else's reality?
I agree. The majority of my reviews have been polite and tasteful, and are an accurate representation of the service I strive to provide. Those that are more graphic in nature I consider a fun read, but they also serve another purpose - giving the potential customer an idea of what he might expect from our session. This can eliminate the need to discuss the actual details of the session beforehand. Perhaps not as important in Canada under our bizarre laws, but certainly so in the US where such discussions would be illegal and could directly implicate me.

To tiannas. My first review was short and general. You say giving out more graphic details are helpful to your business. How much detail? When does intimate detail get to be too crude? When it does get too crude does that create the kind of representations that could lead to extreme expectations? How far should a review go in your opinion?
