NYPD. Prostitution is not a federal crime unless done interstate (Mann Act). These activities were all done on the UES in an incall operation. However, I suspect that the NYPD was tipped off by the FBI based on information the FBI uncovered in the EC/Spitzer investigation.

This bust and the Spitzer scandal are having a serious impact on the NYC scene. Already there is evidence that some high priced ladies in NYC are going to Rhode Island where incall or "private prostitution" is legal and only SW is illegal. Of course, they will have to charge less in Providence.

A further positive impact may be the spooking of some ladies who left Montreal for the greener pastures of NYC, back to Montreal.

If she was managing a hedge fund there would be no need for her to be a pimpette...........it sounds like she found a way to pay off her student loans but now that her bank accounts are all frozen, I hope she had paid them off already.

GG, I suspect she was probably running a very sophisticated operation and the only reason she got busted is that the FBI tipped off the NYPD with info they had from the EC/Spitzer investigations. The FBI, if they become aware of a state law violation, will usually do this. I have a close friend who works for the FBI in NYC and they work closely with the NYPD on some cases.

However, it does seem that some of the neighbors in the building where the incall was being run were getting suspicious. You wonder sometimes about the discretion of these ops. I have done a few incalls in NYC and usually they are run very discreetly where you get to a location where they can see you, then they give you the address or the exact apartment#, then you have to ring a buzzer to be let into the building and usually the buildings have security cameras. Every time I went, nobody saw me going into the building that I could see as far as the neighbors or other tenants.

You have guts because I would never do an incall in NYC. It could easily be a police sting operation and even if it is legit, who knows what type of crackhead you're going to find. Unless I knew it was a credible incall, there is no way I'd risk incalls in NYC.

The only incalls I have ever visited in NYC were operations that were well reviewed either on TER, BestGFE or Utopia Guide. I always scrupulously cross-reference the poster's history to make sure they are not shills. On TER, there are many shill posters, especially for the Asian AMPs in NYC. Balls are not needed if you do your research.

I have seen a number of indy MPs, most of them very good but much more expensive than what you would pay in Montreal - $250 and up.

I only took a chance and saw an unreviewed provider in NYC once, and I would not do that again. The unreviewed provider I saw was legit but not as good as her pics.

There are plenty of well reviewed operations so there is no need for balls if you do your research.

NYC is much closer to where I live than Montreal, but I don't hobby there regularly, because it's overpriced and the service levels are generally lower than in Montreal. On the other hand, it's a huge city with many choices. When I say "well reviewed", I mean that there are reviews corroborating the legitimacy of the operation or the provider.
