Financially it's a good move, but other than his 93 point second season with the NJ Devils, Taylor Hall has been a categorical disappointment since being drafted overall #1 by Edmonton. His last few seasons have been very disappointing and obviously he did not do much to help Buffalo, which is a joke of a team whose FA signings were all disasters.

How does everyone think the Covid spike in Canada is going to effect the playoffs?

I think that they may have to leave the Canadian teams out of the Stanley Cup playoffs and let them play off for a secondary prize. They should have agreed to a bubble within the USA and they would not be having to deal with these questions. I think that maybe they can let the Canadian teams playoff in Canada for a Canadian division champion, as their consolation prize, and then let the US teams decide the Stanley Cup champion. It is very unlikely that any of the Canadian teams would have won the Stanley Cup anyway, as it is a very weak division. Possibly Toronto, but they are not ready yet and will have to wait til next year.

Best option would be to have a bubble here in the States. What a difference a year makes.

They can do a bubble but the Canadian division winning team will have to quarantine for a period of time before they can be allowed to enter. Maybe 14 days.

WOW....surprise....VAN 3 TOR 2...well kudos to the CANUCKS for an impressive win in OT after the hell they went through in the last 3 weeks.....they played 60 min. with agressiveté et détermination......BRAVO....a team in the same division sould look at you and
take example .

HAWKS 5 PREDS 4.....in OT....great rally win.....great battle between those 2 with DALLAS for the fourth place......hope HAWKS will do it.....really like this team with ----under the radar--KANE always spectacular to watch.

Whenever you lose a point a game player it's a crushing blow, but the Winnipeg Jets are in the playoffs, and as long as they have Ehlers back for the playoffs, it's not a crushing blow:

EDM 6 WPG 1....WOW....McDavid scored his third hat trick of the season and gets 81st point....re-wow...what an incredible phenomenon....and he drives OILERS now in second place.....impressive.

What McDavid is doing is completely unprecedented in the defensive era of hockey postdating 1995 or so. He is a runaway winner of the MVP award.

The Border Issue still being discussed and is not expected to resolve before the playoffs start. They do not really need to resolve it until a champion of the Canadian division is crowned in June. Issue will go down to wire:
