NY Times article about a "secret" strip club/brothel in New York

I find this article about a strip club/brothel in NYC rather interesting.

Has anyone been there or know of something similar in Montreal? It looks a bit like one of those German clubs to me...

I have been invited to go to this club but never been there. I have a friend who has been there and he says it's great and FS takeout is available for $400 which is a bargain by NYC standards.

This article makes no sense to me. This club was described to me as very very underground and you do not stay underground by letting the NY Times in to do a story. There is too much information in that story about where they are located and I actually know where they are located, plus too much information on some of the girls. No need to say what other clubs they worked at.

Patron, I like carry out places because you can look for the girl that knocks your socks off and go to her and interview her. The problem is if you have a bad encounter with a girl there is little recourse for the hobbyist. For every girl or agency on MERB you can leave a review. For every Indy or Agency girl in the US that has a web site you can leave a review. For the FKKs or the Termas there are forums on ISG and I make sure to leave a review. The former are more conscious of their reviews then the latter. Those that are aware of their reviews have an incentive to provide good service.
When I pick a girl up in the hotel or in a bar there is really no way to identify that girl and connect her to a agency web site or a pin her to a particular termas/FKK. I cannot read about her before hand and I can do little to warn others about her after the fact. This almost guarantees a CBJ and no DFK. Im rambling but this scenario almost guarantees bad service.

I totally agree that it was extremely cocky by the owner to let the NY Times write an article about his club. He probably thinks he's untouchable...

I guess the appeal for the club is to interact with the girls before taking the next step, a bit like you can do in an actual strip club. To me, even reviewed-girls can be hit or miss because you don't get to find out what your chemistry with her will be like. If you get to see her and chit-chat a bit, it probably helps to feel how the rest will go.

I forwarded this link to my friend who is a hedge fund guy in NYC and he told me there are other places like this and he knows of one which is very similar and the girls will give you 20 minutes of full service for $200-$300 and the girls are of high quality. This seems to be the new business model and the competition from like establishments may be why Bliss invited the NY Times reporter in. But by doing this they are really not so underground any more.........
