If the western society really wanted to protect teenage girls, we would send singing wh#res like Madonna, Britney Spears, Shakira, Beyonce, Jessica Simpson … behind bars for targeting teenagers.

If you don't like, don't listen or look.

What's to blame is parents that won't take responsibilities in educating their children. It's easy to blame pop music and all, after all, Elvis Presley was considered a deviant pervert because of his dancing.

I have nieces who are 12-13 yo and loves Britney Spear and such. They don't dress the same way and don't feel like doing so either. Why? Their parents raised them in a way to be able to see the difference between right and wrong. They know what's fantasy and what's reality. They haven't been raised by the TV but by their parents.

I agree that Britney, maybe Madonna in her younger days, may have been a less than glowing example to look up to, but the rest are not in the same category. Expecially Shakira who does a lot of work for Unicef. Just because an artist happens to be beautiful and sexy it doesn't make them a bad role model. If you want to target recording artists why not choose the gansta rappers with their warped attitudes towards women which is more damaging than any female singer could ever be.
