Santa Lucia on Stanley makes a good pie. Only a few blocks away from your location. Don't know if they deliver. Domino's does.

I only had food delivered to my hotel room once, and it was Domino's. Pretty much the same as in the states, only the dude speaks with a French accent. He was pretty cool about it, considering that I called really late. Good deals on the coupons they gave.

Usually, in Montreal, I like to go out and experience the locals and the fine city, but sometimes, for whatever reason, you just end up ordering in.

I can't find the website right now, but there's some kind of delivery service for a bunch of mom-and-pop restaurants in Montreal. I'm not sure if it's a consolidated order and delivery service, or if the company just takes the order and the restaurant does the delivery. Next time I'm in town, I might find the name and website again.

Thanks for the suggestions. I like dominos and pizza hut as much as the next person, but I'd like something a little different at the moment. I think I'll go with gerbera on this one and try pizzeria angela. Thanks

Angela's on de Maisonneuve West

Gerbera and CrackerJack are right on with Angela's and it's only a couple of minutes from your hotel.

Yep, it should be here shortly. :) I even found a menu online, so it made everything pretty convenient.

If you ever end up in Verdun, you should try Mory Pizza on Verdun Ave and Second Ave. Whatever you do anywhere in Montreal avoid Double Pizza or most pizza joints owned by Arabs as they usually suck. Just my experinace and i can't speak for all.

Speaking of an SP and pizza I remebered that there was a trick being used to send SPs to clients without breaking the law. You would call, place an order for a pizza and choose your driver. The pizza cost $100, but the driver (female) was allowed to spend time with the customer and of course whatever happens, happens. Technically no prostitution was taking place as the money was for the pizza.

So how was Angela's pizza? Are you going to tell us now after all the feedback we gave you?

Best pizza I ever eat is from Deli Quebec on Jarry near St-Denis right of metro Jarry exit.
The place is owned by greeks and I don't know why but most of the best italians pizerrias are owned by greeks.
Anyway, their special deli pizza(all dressed + smoked meat) is heavenly.:p

Other I would recommend if willing to venture west is Gigi in Pointe-Claire on Lakeshore road in the village.
Again owned and operated by greeks. The best in the west Island, bar none.

I usually steer clear of 2 for 1 and large chains like Mikes,Dominos ect... I think their pizza tastes like frozen Mcain pizza.
But it's a matter of tastes I guess.

Bon appétit!;)

BDC, I'll have to try Mory pizza. I'm always on the lookout for new, quality pizza places. Have you ever tried Trevi on de l'Eglise? Great pizza, especially if you order it with Italian sausage.

There used to be a pizza place in Mtl that was a cover for a drug business. Ordering certain pizza's, not the ones on the menu, and they would deliver a pizza with a side order of whatever you wanted. They got busted but probably made a lot of money while they were open.

Maybe "offtopic" because the initial question was for a delivery pizza :

Probably the best Pizza in Montreal

In the "little Italy" aera of Montreal

Pizzeria Napolitaine, on Dante street (about three blocks east of St-Laurent blvd.)

The resto is a "bring your own wine" and there's often a line-up to enter.

No reservation possible, and they don't accept credit card or debit card.

Not the perfect place for a romantic lunch because the decor is very ordinary and it's also very lousy.

But for the pizza, even if sometimes I have to wait more than thirty minutes outside before getting a table, it's the place to go.

Prices are OK, individual pizza are around 12$ to 16$ (with a choice of about 15 different combinaisons of topics). They also offer in the menu a good selection of pasta.

No delivery available, but possibility to take to go.

Wow, thanks for the flashback to my college years. At the time, I lived right across the street, and their food helped me through many a long night. :)

Yes I am :p I watched the end of the Canucks game on tv and went right to bed, woke up and drove back to Maryland. That = no time to post here. But, since I'm back I will say that Angela's was a good experience.

I got a 10" pizza and a hamburger. The pizza was pepperoni and it had tons of it, maybe even too much. But still a good pizza. The hamburger surprised me the most though. I loved the smoked or grilled or whatever that flavor was I got from it. I honestly haven't had a hamburger that good in a while, so I"m really glad I called. Thanks for all the help guys!

I fully agree with chateaulafite, Pizzeria Napolitaine is one of the best place in Montreal.

189, rue Dante, located in the Little Italy.
514-276-8226 514-495-0079

But when it comes to delivery, one of the best place I know is Pizza Bravo in Laval.
234, boul. Lévesque E corner of Boul Léger
LAVAL, Québec
H7G 1C6 Pont Viau

However for a tourist stranded in an hotel, in downtown Montreal, I would go with Pizza Hut or Donini.

There's also La Pizzella pizzeria: 080 St Mathieu , Montreal , QC , H3H2J4, Canada
Phone:(514) 939-3030

There's also a Mike's on Ste.Cath West
1348 Ste Catherine W , Montreal , QC , H3G1P6 , Canada
Phone:(514) 395-2222

Speaking of pizzas, one of the best place in the world to eat a pizza (even the Italians agree on this) is São Paulo. They say that at least a million pizzas are made there each day. Fine pizzas with different toppings. The margharita pizza is simply exquisite!

What are the best paulista pizzerias:

1) veridiana (both location: jardins and Higienopolis)

http://www.noitesaopaulo.com.br/veridiana/index.asp

http://www.guiadasemana.com.br/detail.asp?ID=2&cd_place=724

2) Speranza
Rua Treze de Maio, 1004, Bela Vista. Phone: 3288-8502 and Avenida Sabiá, 786, Moema, Phone: 5051-1229 e 5051-7615.

3) My favorite spot is Emporio on the corner of Canario and Macuco.

If only I knew...
Guys, read the title, the beginning of thread and check dates: pizza has already been selected, eaten, digested, expelled, went tru city sewer system and is back in the big water/waste cycle.

Maybe a new thread on best pizzeria?
