Unlike almost any other escort agency forum, the sole purpose of the Devilish forum seemed to be promotions and contests rather than information. The Forum attempted to and successfully did exploit the hobbyists with the "I want something for nothing" modus operandi. It should be obvious from the posts in this thread. Instead of expecting something for nothing, I would have expected nothing for nothing.
It worked as a marketing tool for a while but from my standpoint a much better and more effective marketing tool was bringing ladies to HDLM parties (e.g., predecessor agency Dangerous Curves circa 2005).
The fact that some people have actually posted in this thread that they did not get to receive their contest winnings sounds very much to me like the Madoff investors crying that they lost their money. The only difference here is that time rather than money was invested. Should these disappointed contest investors really expect any sympathy from our community? I never would have expected to claim anything more than a bunch of nothing if I had won one of these contests. I did not participate in any of these contests, although I did try to use the Devilish Forum to exchange info. Not enough people did.
It's possible that Devilish did deliver a few contest winnings in the beginning just to keep interest alive, but remember that Madoff also paid early investors and it was only the later investors who lost out. This is what is called a Ponzi promotional scheme. It victimizes those who believe that at every step in life, they can get something for nothing.
The contests also made no logical sense. You win a contest and get to have any girl for free. What if the girl isn't working, or does not feel like working for free? Then what? Did it ever occur to any of you that this just MAY BE a slight problem? Come on now guys. Also, if a girl is getting some other form of non-monetary compensation - and we all know what that could be - do you really want to see her for free anyway?
