I would like to start a thread on massage parlours facilities. As do massage attendants, massage parlours also comes in different sizes and shapes. Here’s my quick review and ranking. Remember, it’s not a ranking of the ladies, just the facilities.

.1. My numero uno in facilities per say:
- the « very new » 2214: Wow! It’s hand down the best place in Montreal. First of all very discreet, you would never know from the outside. The place is beautiful and renovated with taste. The rooms are on the smaller side but according to industry size, they are actually quite spacious. And of course, the signature round foam mattress from 2214, now found in all rooms. It’s a mattress meant for « it ». The regular old timers will know what I mean. Oh yes, I forgot this place is spotless clean. Alex is a neat freak and I appreciate.

2. My numero dos:
- YPG. So many memories in that place. If the walls could talk. It’s the old Spa Isis for us old timers. The facilities at YPG have seen better days. But it’s ranked 2nd in my books for sentimental reasons, kind of like the old Forum, full of stories. It’s centrally located, could be considered discreet, but I think the whole neighborhood must know by now. For the standards of the industry, the rooms are considered very big. This place was once the epitome of « massage parlours ». The basic installations at YPG are good, what it may need is just an up to date. Oh the memories!

I’m running out of time. To be continued… or others may also share there thoughts.

my number 1 would be Amazing Spa, rooms are a bit small but everything is there, from nice working showers, pillows, good clean smelling towels, well placed mirrors that you can easily move around ;), mouthwash and ambiance, hostess is a gem and the place is spotless.

I have to give second place to 2214, always been well received there, ambiance is cozy with a boudoir feel, showers are in good condition, love the sturdy solid tables, only downside was towels we're quite small and somehow wornout(last visit over a year ago) no mouthwash neither.

Third place is YPG, facilities are quite beaten up, although they have the largest nice shower stalls, all glassed and confortable for 2 or 3, it is very hard to get and keep the proper shower temperature, that is if you can get hot water, no mouthwash there neither( whats wrong with these parlors?), the ceilings are an absolute horror with lots of leaking stain and broken tiles. But I love the "bordello" atmosphere and wide variety of girls, tables are also very solid and big+futon, my go to room there is #3 ;)

Like Jupiter9, my number 1 goes to Amazing Spa. The rooms are small but very warm. The beds are spacious and are not directly on the floor, as in several spas. Mirrors enlarge the room and give a better overview. There are big working clocks above the beds. Everything is provided, mouthwash, lubricant, 2 kinds of massage oil, bottle of water, chocolate, etc. The rental is less expensive than some who have increased their price with the pandemic. The masseuses have no rent to pay and also have everything provided, free of charge. The rooms for the employees are more comfortable than anywhere else, because each girl has her room, instead of being roped into the same room to wait for customers. The place is very discreet, it doesn't look like there is a massage parlor there at all.

Like Montrealrez, my number 2 goes to YPG, also for sentimental reasons. I knew the 3 YPG spa. This one is less well maintained and would be due for serious renovations as there is a lot of mold on the ceilings. Jupiter9, not all the showers are glazed, only 3 out of 9 rooms are, and in your room of choice #3 it is not glazed and the water gets on the floor a lot because it there is no door or curtain so that it doesn't splash everywhere. It also remains my favorite because the bed is raised and the other rooms, the beds are on the floor. The rooms and showers are bigger, but I admit that it's complicated and long before you have hot water, especially if you are the first customers of the day. There are massage tables in most rooms. The owner is rarely in Montreal, which causes the salon to fall apart. On the other hand, she answers the phone to customers, even if she is not in the country.

For my choice number 3, I cannot name 2214 because I have never been there. I don't know if the Kama on Crescent Street is still open but it's the most spacious salon I've been to. It was very big and there was room to wait for the groups for the Bachelor parties. The services are less liberal than the first 2 I named, but maybe that changed over time, if it still exists.
If it no longer exists, I would rather put the Spa Abandon for my 3rd choice because there was a bubble bath that was washed after each client and which, in my opinion, was more romantic with the bubbles. There is also the Salon Fantaisies which still exists and is renovated quite often, but there are spas in all the rooms and the services are stricter.

According to @montrealrez criterias, which is facilities and not the ladies, I would say that Secret Spa is number one. IMHO, this is the most luxury MP that I had the privilege to go. I must say that my last visit dated around 3 years ago, but I doubt that there is significant changes since that time. The service overthere is in the same mood than Salon Fantaisie. As for second and third pace, I am at. The same place than @Jupiter9 : 2214 and YPG, and I confirm his comments and those from @BrittanyMontreal for YPG . But there is a lot of other popular MP, such as The Penthouse or Avalon that I did not had the opportunity to visit yet.

Thanks to all for your inputs and mostly to Britanny. It’s always good to see from a massage attendant point of view. I didn’t know at Amazing that each massage attendant had her own waiting room. A nice touch from Lucky. Which bring me to my number 3:

Amazing Spa, they could also have been, number 2 in my books if it were not for it’s location. For me, they are just out of the way, I just hate taking the metropolitan. But as mentioned by others, great place. Nice, clean and discreet. Great to see that one the massage attendant, Lucky, is also the owner, it might explain the little attention to details that make it such a great place.

There no special order for some other place, but here are quick reviews:
- Salon Avalon: I think the only thing going for them is the variety of massage attendants. It’s not so much it’s bad or anything, according to industry standards, they would be in the norm. But I have a pet peeve. It annoys the Jesus out of me when I hear all the girls walking in there heels on that cheap ceramic floor. Clac, clac, clac… Please put a carpet in the hallway.

- Le penthouse: It feels like a strip joint. It’s spacious, it’s got jacuzzis. However, I just don’t know I never feel quite comfortable or safe there. Just my two cents.

Again, thanks for the inputs. Always good to see other point of views.
