Please allow me to introduce myself
I'm a man of wealth and taste

I've been around for a long, long year
Stole many a man's soul and faith

Wooo Wooo,
Wooo Wooo,

(18k fans screaming lungfuls of THC-rich breath into the atmosphere)

Sympathy for the Devil was their best song last night IMO. But then again I'm biased cause it's my ATF...

Mick can still strut around the stage, but less than before...

The close up shots of Richards on the big screen showed just how ravaged he is...

Did I miss something or did they leave wothout giving an encore...?

Alexis Jean was a bore...

My ears are still ringing...

Keith Richards owns a home in Connecticut and a few years back a friend of mine ran into him at a local bar, where he was drinking shots of whiskey or bourbon. She said he looked like a walking corpse from the "Night of the Living Dead", and that his face looked about 80 years of age from some seriously hard living. The bar he was hanging at is a real low key place and I was very surprised to hear he was there, but I suppose it would be a place I would go if I was famous and did not want to be hassled.

last night..

i really enjoyed the show,,,,much better sound than the show i saw at olympic stadium......i found that there was less chemistry between woods and richards as the last show i saw back in 1989...
Sympathy for the devil was the best song last night..IMHO...
no regrets at all..

It was my first time seeing the Stones, and my 1st concert in ages. I must say that I loved every minute of Mick and the boys, from Jumping Jack Flash (the opening number) to atisfaction... though their opening act did not impress me. Who is Anik Jean anyway?

While the band's energy level was not that of what I have seen in video of some of their old concerts, it was still a pretty energetic show, especially when you factor in their age.

I also found that having the whole audience dancing and "woo hoo"-ing during Sympathy for the Devil to be one of the highlights.

I saw those two numbers. I suppose the pause between the last regular song and the first encore was so brief that I didn't notice the difference. Not even enough time for a quick bj backstage :D

I agree with Ronnie that Mick is still pretty energetic in comparison to some other performers. I got to see U2 last fall and Bono (late forties, early fifties?) had nowhere near as much spring as Jagger, who's entitled to a public pension if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah! Rolling Stones ... again!

Wasn't my first time with Rolling Stones but I remember that I thougth it was a hell of a chance the first time a saw them because sometimes when a band gets old well...and me being young well ... shit happens!

But, after a couple of show with Rolling Stones :p it seems they will never go!!! From my memorized moments ...(ah! ah! ah!) :D I can say that performance was really good. Can we talk about an encore ... hum? Not sure about that! An encore is probably after beging them to come back with an audience that applause for a while, from all my experience seing live shows. So, for me, no there was no encore just like the last time. But, the price of the ticket vs the two hour show ... was a deal! (Sorry! Have good contacts!;) )

Last thing ... well it was my second ever best show with in first position ...Page/Plant and third place ... ZZ Top of course with an openning done by Georges Thorougouth!!! (Torogouth ...? Thorogouth...? Whatever!)

My top 3 concerts:

#1 REM - first time Michael Stipes came out of his shell, the Indigo Girls Opened (this was at the old forum... too big a place to see these 2, IMHO)

#2 ELP - 2 times, once at the forum - good show, but Bonhams sons band opened and tourtured us for almost an hour - aaarrgghhh and then at Theatre St.Denis (amazing)

#3 David Bowie - The Glass Spider Tour (yep - that was a LONG time ago - 18 years ago!), I still remember Lalala Human steps performance! Dazzling!

Was this the GnR concert where they quit after a couple of songs and Axl told the crowd to fuck off? There was a huge riot after?? Is that the one?

Yes, Sir and believe me I wasn't very happy about that!!:(

Faith no more did there presentation but it's not very my kind ...

Then James Hetfield (Metallica) got on fire by a pyrotechny.
There where very ok. They brougth someone who did explain the situation in english and in french. ;) Later, they came back at the Forum and offered low price ticket with a central stage perfomance. :)

Finally, if my memory is good, the audience wait for almost an 1h45 before Guns N' Roses start there business ... and well that all what I'm gonna say about it...
