Should johns have a say?

I heard Émilie Laliberté (Stella’s director) on the radio a few days before Chrismas. She said johns shoud have their say in the public debate to come on the prostitution laws.

Do you fell it would be necessary?

If so, do you see any means to achieve that?

Étrangement, je crois que le sexe est encore un sujet tabou aujourd'hui. J'ai l'impression que les gens pensent que les hommes sont tous comme les pires cas qu'on peut trouver dans certains vidéos de sites pornos. Si je me fie aux masseuses et aux escortes, presque tous les clients sont respectueux: les TDC seraient une minorité.

I think the way to achieve it would be by a petition that we could all sign into. Not only Merb but other's who support the change in legislation.

I believe you forgot a few others on the list (Canadian Senators, Drug Dealers, Human trafficker's, Tax Collectors etc) don't value yourself so low. We are honest we pay a Fee for a Service. We expect value for money and most SP's provide that. More than any of the aforementioned.

I think one of the main issue in this hobby on the john side is the cheating part...

I saw few opening in that matter within my surroundings for some situations:

1- At a get toghether, there was quite a few guest, but all close relatives... So they went on the subject about one of a cousin that was not there and that was mentally challenged (lightly) and the pour guy was getting older and was showing sign of needing some sex and one of the pretty young aunt brought the possibility to call an escort for him... Most of the guest were more religous than me and they were like OK to call an escort for the pour guy...
2- I admitted to my brother about the fact I was hobbying... For a small moment he was a bit shocked but he noticed that I was happier than ever and I had new friends and that I was going out a lot (even if it was in SC lol). So the pills was easier to swallow since I was not cheating on any one since I'm single.

I don't want others in the familly to know I.m hobbying but I believe that many of my friends and family have a doubt... And even if it would be confirmed to them, I think it would be more accepted because I'm actually single...
But there would be exceptions I guess and this is why I prefer not to fall on the subject and admit anything...
