Earlier today, I was watching the TLC show Police Women of Broward County – FL, on TV.

As the female cop posing as a escort was ready for a sting operation in order to arrest people having indoor ‘illegal sex’ as she puts it, stating that this operation is needed since the prostitutes all have diseases and the johns are “perverts and pathetic”.

Then she looks in the camera and gives the following advice:

“ If you want to meet someone, go to a club”. She immediately notices the absurdity of her statement, as we all know that people meeting in bars have lasting and meaningful relationship….

She then quipped and says: “ or go to a church”. Great! Another religious nutcase spreading the word of Jebus.

The producer probably felt sorry about her idiocy and cut the segment short in order to save her from further embarrassing herself and her County, State, and Country.

I have watched this show with these insipid woman spewing nonesense. Just turn it off. I would like to take that blond by the hair and and make her give me a to CIM and then boot her out of my room.

But these are what the do gooders in the US think about the hobby. The religious right believes that sex for money is a sin. The ultra liberals believe that every escort is being exploited by at least two males. Both groups believe a woman would never turn a trick by her own volition.

Centauraus , why don't you worry about Montreal cops, on the Montreal Escort review board. Speaking of which I have a thread in the lounge seciton about what tactics police are using against mongers these days, and how we can pool our collective intelligence to guard against it, and maybe if you know some lawyers , have them comment on it.

Years ago there was a television program called American Detective or as I call it American Defective. They would go with hidden cameras and catch johns in the street soliciting police decoys. They would also get hookers to go to motel rooms and then arrest them. They are offered a deal to testify against the pimps and escort organizers, all this time the deal is done on camera. Have they not put these people at risk? Have they not ruined their lives to be put on national television and exposed and then reveal themselves to be stool pidgeons?
The American poor is not the poor people you see here in Canada, they are desperately poor and live in a crack enviorment. It just made me laugh when the cops will say at the end of the program that they have turned these peoples lives around.

Are you suggesting that Montreal does not have people living in a dirt poor crack environment?

If you are, then OPEN YOUR EYES!

I saw the same episode. You see 5 cops with expensive computer and surveillance equipment busting a poor nobody who poses no threat to anyone looking for a bj with only $80 in his pocket. They could be using these resources for more serious crimes. What a waste of time and taxpayer dollars.

Ronnie, my eyes are open and rather than jump on GTA refugee for not recognizing poverty in Canada I think you should recognize he is just saying that the poor in the US are poorer than the poor in Canada.

Don't worry about the American poor. They get plenty of hand outs too. We see generations of people that do not work, learn to builk the system, and do not contribute to the overall economy. If they are too high to collect all the money that is set aside for them then too bad. If they want more money than go to school, learn a skill, and go out and get a job like the rest of us.

Welfare is supposed to be a safety net but too many times it turns into a hammock

And Dingdong I have never laid a hand ona woman. I just do not like these undercover decoys. I see it as a waste of the tax dollars money. That money would be better served elsewhere - jobs training for welfare recipients.

Given your first paragraph, I`m just curious if you support violence against women or not?

I`m just saying...

I don't know if this show is for real. I was just watching it tonight and this blonde cop is posing as a prostitute. A john tries to pick her up and suddenly 5 cops in an unmark car blocks the john's car, jumps out and surrounded the john's vehicle with one of the cop pointing a gun a him. Do we really need a whole SWAT team to arrest a john? Is a gun really necessary?

Do they need all that force ? Of course not. Any sane person knows that prostitution is a victimless crime.

However in order to convince the sheeps down there in Whopper land about the evil of prostitution, they , i.e. the cops, need to portray the johns as bad and extremely dangerous people to society.

Americans and their whicked definition of morality. I guess invading a sovereign land and killing 10's of thousand of people is perfectly moral to them.

The cop is like 60 years old. Nobody in his right would find here even close to being doable. Except to desparate dudes who never left their farms.

When she posed as an escort online, she only got two customers. Two regular johns going back home after their 9 to 5 jobs. They had no drugs. alcohols or criminal records. It was a big
waste of tax payer money.

One of my pet peeves is the "Train de Banlieue" security that check the kids passes are valid. They wear bulletproof vests to do that.

We live in the times of either unnecessary risks, or overkill security measures.

The other day I saw children playing in the street near my house, no bicycles, just playing with little Tonka type trucks, all three were wearing helmets.
