What surprised me even more is the number of women who responded in twitter in support of her, some also complaining that it was inappropriate for clients to ask if they have tattoos and if so how many...all claiming this was 'crossing a line'. Its left me scratching my head.

I have been scratching my head since I got on Twitter. In fact, it has introduced a new word in my vocabulary: Misandry. There are girls that go on twitter to blow off steam or to warn about certain individuals. I get this but it goes beyond this. There are some that are constantly on Twitter complaining about clients....every client. It is apparent to me that they hate men. Go look up Charlotte Edwards and Stefania of GTA and follow those two. What are they doing in this business? It is mind boggling and puzzling. They should see only women or find a new job. A better match for thier skill set would be as civil servants because those people at the DMV or post office are anything but civil and they act entitled because they can't be fired. Or maybe become a night watchmen/ watchwomen?

Twitter for me has become the best tool for screening providers since TER/MERB/ISG reviews.

I agree with you Hungry. Twitter has proven to be the absolute best platform. For the best (sonia, melodie, Lolathebrat...) or the worst.... I wont name names but yes I avoid or will avoid some because of their Twitter attitude.

That said if I put my mind to be a 20 year old girl I would also not like someone asking how many tattoos they have. Tattooes is an artistic expression that they decided to put on their body. None of our business. If it really bothers you make sure to read the reviews and/or collect correct info from the booker. Or go on SA and select the girl of your choice more intimately. That's what SA is for.

Cheers,

^^^ Yes I hear you. Melodie makes you want to spend time with her. Lola's videos are awesome. Isys of Cupids can rub hobbyists the wrong way but she has made me bust my gut laughing so many times that I want to see her just for that. Check out Chantelle of Mirage and her photos. April McAdams is making noise. Erika Delarose is a sex goddess. I enjoy Sasha Johansen and Sonia too. The ex-Unicorn girls understand men. I like Adriana Bella (she is adorable) and many of Julia's posts are interesting and thought provoking and sometimes funny. Faye has a few face pics which are compelling. Nina Rose from Miami puts a lot of photos on Twitter that I like..so most of the time Twitter is good.

I agree Hungry some of these women on Twitter do nothing but bash clients.
I don’t know why any client would ever choose to be with them.
I love reading some of them constantly on about white rich entitled clients.

Well here is a news flash.
Someone who is white couldn’t help being white just as someone who is black did not choose it either they were all born that way.
As far as being rich, if anybody should know they should that nobody throws money at you, you need to earn it.
Most of us are not rich to begin with, and some have had to fight all their lives and work two, three jobs to get to where they are, so no we are not entitled and how do you make that statement anyway without knowing shit about a person.

You are right, there are some who are funny and interesting and sometimes thought provoking like Julia and there are quite a few that realize that without clients they would have to be doing the dreaded 9 to 5 perhaps and actually appreciate their clients and regulars.
I for one do read someone’s Twitter before I consider seeing them and any that persist in ridiculous client bashing I just ignore.

Cheers,

There is a difference between someone casually asking and a client arranging a date. They either show tattoos in their pictures or answer questions on whether they have any. And If they do, they can expect to be asked about them. Or they can stop photo shopping them out of pictures. Indy SPs do not have an agent or a booker, and they control the content of their pictures and website. Nobody is denying it is their personal choice, but they are removing it from pictures (something they pay the photographer extra for) and then (in some cases) refuse to answer questions about it.

I remove my tattoos from my pictures. Personally I don’t pay anyone to do it as I’m able to do it myself, which is cool! Yay! Lol. And no, indeed I don’t answer specific questions. Some people wanna know where my tattoos are or they even want pictures. I am not answering that nor sending pictures, for privacy purposes. The only question I will answer is "how many do you have?" (I don’t have a lot). I do write in my ad on merb and on my website that I have tattoos and piercings so it’s not a surprise, if someone acts like they’re surprised it tells me they didn’t bother reading...

I also won’t take my piercings out for a client. They’re a part of me and I wouldn’t feel comfortable meeting someone who comes at me with the idea that he thinks I’m ugly but would be a little less ugly without my piercing. I’d feel self conscious the whole time. If you don’t like my style book someone who fits your ideal style... Piercings are also expensive and time consuming during the healing process. What if a piercing closes? Not likely with a one hour booking but a few hours is enough for a piercing to downsize and require stretching or re-piercing afterwards. The only exception I’ll make is I can remove my tongue piercings if the guy’s dick is too sensitive, but only if the session is short enough that I don’t risk having to get my tongue pierced again and take a month off work lol.

They can be 20 year old or 40 year old what difference does it make.
Yes it is none of our business that they want to have tattoos or how many they wish to have.

It is however a legitimate question when their photographs show none.
What is wrong with being honest about it, it is a tattoo after all, not anything most people haven’t seen before.
I tell them my age and most anything else if they ask.
I don’t see a reason a girl should be upset with telling you if she has tattoos or piercings, she must know that she will lose some and gain some clients as a result.
It would probably hurt more being refused at the door when the client sees the tattoos or even worse once she takes her clothes off.
I would never refuse someone nor would I specifically book someone because of their tattoos.

btw I don’t mean specific questions about their tattoos just whether they have some or not.
There is no reason to ask specific questions.

I have a longtime Internet fellow hobbyist friend that asks girls to take out their tongue piercing. I always thought it was kind of kinky. I like belly rings and nipple piercings too but even if a piercing didn't do it for me, I wouldn't ask a girl to remove. Until now, I didn't realize or consider that there is a good reason not to remove it. I thought if someone was going to give me ~200-500/hour and all she had to do was remove a nose piercing and then do her thing for an hour???? I would scratch my head when girls would refuse to do this. I thought it was like a outfit request.
