I know, strange to be in such agreement with a politician (of all people)!
Not so strange to be in agreement with you.

http://www.politicalcompass.org/ postulates that we don't actually fit on a linear political scale, but rather a two dimensional plane with two axes: left vs right (the economic scale) and authoritarian vs liberterian (the social scale). There's a test you can take as well, though it is a bit longer to take than the one you posted here. It shouldn't be a surprise, based on my previous results, that I fall in the 'Liberterian Left'... right next to the Dalai Lama.
