There was a stabbing at around 4:30pm today near Montagne & Notre Dame

Anyone hear about it?

My father was driving home from work & saw an ambulence come along & the police all of a sudden blocked off Montagne below Notre Dame?

When I drove back home to Dollard Des Ormeaux, Montagne was still blocked off & when I went into the Petro Canada on Guy & Notre Dame there was a cop inside gettinga drink or something & the gas tendant asked me if Montagne was still blocked off?

I said yes & then the cop came by & they started saying there was a stabbing?

Crazy, an isolated incident perhaps?

i just don't think that stabbing people in the middle of the street is the new hype in Montreal...

What I meant was, was the victim pre-targeted?

Or was it just a mugging or something of a random victim?

Heard about it on the radio this am, and it was a woman who did the stabbing.

In the Journal De Montreal,they said the man and the women both knew each other and were drunk.They got into an argument and she stabbed him.Plain and simple.Now she is charged with murder and is in jail.

Drinking

It has always amazed me how alcohol in some people produces violent tendencies. When I drink I get relaxed. However I knew a guy, who was the nicest guy in the world, but when he drank he would become a madman and beat his wife, kids etc. Finally he went to AA and started drinking cokes because he saw what the drinking was doing to him.

This woman who did the stabbing, she needs to go to AA, and now that she is in prison she will have the time to do so.

OMG, this is just stupid.

A couple who knew eachother who were drunk & she stabbed him?

There's a couple right across from my apartment who always fight even at 1 or 2am you can hear them screaming at eachother.

She's called the police on him before & kicked him out many times before but she always let him back.

Both of them would drink at least 4 nights a week & they'd get into arguments all the time.

They'd be screaming at eachother in the hallways even late at night.

One night he was doing the dishes & they started up with an argument & she was coming near him while he was washing a kitchen knife & he turned around to her while she was in his face.

She said don't come near me with that knife.

Apparently a couple of weeks ago she called the police & had him permanently removed from the building.

Both of them are nice, but when they're alone & they argue & drink with eachother, all hell would break loose.
