Not surprising, GSP wins a unanimous decision!!!!

However, Fitch showed a lot of guts by staying in the octogon with GSP for the full match. After the interviews, the lightweight champ (can't remember his name) asked GSP to give him a shot at his title (Welterweight) and GSP agreed & added that he's not a chicken & he's a true champion & will agree to fight anyone who deserves it.

When the bell rang at the end of the round 3 and it was obvious that lesnar

was going to win by decision he pointed at herring and laughed. Then he

mimicked the cowboy by throwing his lasso at him and reeled him in as if he

was livestock.

Yea, he was a complete asshole!! On top of it, he f'n sucks!! If had an ounce of skill in that giant body of his he should've been able to choke Herring out 15+ times in that fight but instead he just laid across his back and did nothing but looking like an idiot!

Hated him in the WWE and hate him now.

I just got in ! I haven't watch the Card ! I kept my initial commitment.
I did have a WWE ( WWF at the time ) client. Saw him 3 times over 2
years. Good guy, great tip. Baby Face like they say in the Sport.

Doc, dont forget our innitial WAGE my Dear !!! ;) !!!

funny.I would think the client was not Lesnar.lol.
Lesnar should of never left wrestling.he was a big ticket and a major draw.who ever told him that he had a chance to make it in the NFL,
Not For Long if you dont have any talent, is an idiot.

No it wasn't him ! :D ! I would estimate that he was perhaps 17 at the time !

I just saw an enterview of GSP on Sportsnet with images of the fight.
I'm very very impressed just how professional the guy is !

Something Lesnar will never have.

I think the roids or HGH talk is out of line now. Not saying he never took enhancements, but until he is a proven user, these claims holds no bounds. Lesnar also gets a lot of hate because of his WWE background. Fact is, he's a legit NCAA (D1 I think) champ. MMA was still in its dark ages when he was finished with college, so WWE was a natural and profitable venture.

While he has absolutely no submission skills (he couldn't figure out how to sink his hooks when he had Heath's back), he is obviously strong and still has a great wrestling base. Even scarier is he is so fast and athletic for a man fighting at 280lbs+ (he cuts to make 265). He's not going to beat Nogueira or Werdum yet, but he has only 3 fights professionally so far. At 31 years old, his time to learn is shorter than some of the up and comers in the division like Cain Valasquez (who I think is the future of the division), but he has the money to invest in good training and can do so full time.

I could have done without the nonsense he did, but Herring's camp talked a lot of shit backstage. Lesnar was supposed to also be the second guy out, but Herring's group veto'd that. They also said Lesnar was a step down in talent and Herring was insulted for not getting a contender to fight. I felt Herring was in the right though, but understand why Brock was a bit pissed.

GSP won like I thought he would. Jon Fitch did prove to me why he's #2 though as he took an ass beating and never gave up. He truly has a heart of a champion and a very classy guy.

On a side note, it doesn't look like BJ vs GSP is happening in Montreal, and it may not even happen in December. It's looking like Super Bowl weekend now, possibly in Hawaii.

I was disappointed in the Florian/Huerta fight as it was not as fast paced as I hoped. Huerta clearly needs more experience though against top guys as he kept going for that superman punch all night.

Good point.the guy only has 3 fights and already is a main event draw.
I dont think he will ever be champion. If Tank Abbot couldn't get it, I cant see how Lesnar will. But like Tank, he will be a
main event fighter for a while.
Careers are short in the UFC when you're not an accomplished brawler.

The difference in class between GSP and Lesnar was huge. You'd never see GSP making foolish hand motions the way that Lesnar did with his "hookng a fish" routine, never!
I can see someone like Tito Ortiz (insinuates digging a grave and putting his opponent in it then filling it up.) doing this because he's earned the respect and paid his dues, the fucken ink on Lesnars UFC contract is still wet and he has no cred to justify the classless way he acted, and I'm no fan at all of Herring, he's awful.

Oh and his "hot" wife Sable...she was hot 10 years ago, now, not so much.

I disagree. That is also classless, but I get your point. I guess I can't get too mad since Ortiz hasn't won a relevant fight in over 3 years and is no longer a top 10 205lb fighter. We'll see if he ends up in Affliction with this revolutionary contract he speaks of. On a side note, congrats to him and Jenna for their upcoming baby.
