I wasn't a big Frankie Edgar fan mostly because he beat BJ Penn twice but after yesterdays bout Frankie Edgar has my respect. That first round beat down by Gray Maynard and coming back strong after that only proved the point that he is a true champion. For sure there will be a rematch but the fact that Maynard could not finish Edgar in the first round is a reason for concern. Frankie Edgar is the better fighter and will come up on top when the rematch happens.

This was a great fight!! I was shocked that Edgar survived that massacre of a first round and came back strong. Absolute respect for that man now!!
