UFC 158 GSP vs Diaz

It's not often that the Canadiens get kicked out of the Bell Centre on a saturady night unless it's the UFC with GSP in the main event!!!

GSP's last fight in which he won saw him get rocked by a Carlos Condit kick to the side of the head. The last time GSP got rocked like that he lost the title. Don't know what Nick Diaz can offer as he is primarily a boxer as this is his choice of fighting style.

The co main event my be more entertaining with Hendricks and Condit as they seem to be a more even match up. Unless Hendricks lands one of his bombs which could be a short match, but I think Condit is skilled enough to take Hendricks out as he seems to be one dimensional and more wanting the land the big bomb.

It'll be a crazy weekend next week and if the UFC doesn't get you pumped then the St Pattys parade the day after will!!!!......

Nick Diaz skipped out on a meet and greet for UFC 158 in Montreal. Let the mind games begin!!!

GSP dropped the puck tonight at the Canadiens game and by the sound of the crowd only half knew who he was.

Nick Diaz was talking alot of crap at the UFC 158 news conference.

This is not good as he is playing mind games with GSP because he probably knows he will get his ass wupped.

I still think the co main event will be better with Hendricks vs Condit.

Diaz just sounds incoherent when I hear him speak and seems to have trouble putting sentences together. GSP, on the other hand, sounded coherent at the post fight press conference, even though english is not his first language.

btw, what do the fighters make for an event like UFC 158 ?

One thing that concerns me is that GSP can't finish his opponents either knock out or submission.

If it goes to the judges he will always win but I want to see him finish his opponents!!!

GSP fights not to lose.

GSP vs Hendricks will be a great matchup as Hendricks can strike and has a ground game. But like all wrestlers he just controls his opponents but cannot finish them on the ground. Looking forward to this matchup.

Yeah he reminds me Rocky in Rocky 3. He became a respectable gentleman, who just fights to keep his title, not enough hungry, too nice, he lost the "eye of the tiger"...

I hope Hendricks wont be his Mister T !
