As a gamer, I never understood the hype of Twich and watching other people play games.
I kinda does even if i personally don't care about it... I think there is many different reasons for folks to do it. Some just want to see pro players play a game they love. They may think they will pick a few tricks. Others just crave the celebrity attention. They give money to be "aknowledge" by a person they look up to. In the same vein reason number 3 could fit with reason 2, think of camgirls, some peoples go there for various reasons, but one of them is to get attention by a hot girl, more you tip more she "like" you and is to aknowledge you or do special stuff for you. Some gamers go on twitch for that aspect as well but also its no surprise hot twitch streameuse especially a few years ago where all almost the new cam girls. They wouldn't get naked but the shows would be close enough with them dancing and twerking etc.
Anyway twitch is a weird phenomena. I like youtube and i like to watch video game videos but usually its for tips and tricks how to beat a certain part, unlock an achievement etc or its videos like currently im watching a guy who does the "Resident Evil Retrospective". Love the series so its fun to see his point of view. But its scripted and well produce, nothing to do with watching just somebody play video games.
Anyway for some of us it may seem stupid that the guy dump such a hot girl, but for him its totally different and im sure finding a new girl won't be a problem if he want to.
As for personal opinion i think call of duty has got down the drain in latest installement, Black Ops 4 seem like a bad frenkenstein attempt to make something out of whats left of COD. I used to really like this franchise but im not even interested to pick that game.
Fortnite is pretty much the new popular big thing and i don't think COD has much years left in the "front scene". Unless they do a 180 and make something awesome, wich they don't have in a long time.
But personally the part of the story that would be the biggest problem to me is moving to mexico city. I don't think any women would be able to make me move there. Too dangerous of a country and getting in such a foreign environement... no thanks.
