With some of the higher rates quoted, I wonder if it would be more cost effective to make one's own porn film with oneself and the SP in starring roles. I don't believe that most porn actresses get $800/hr.

Agreed. So many ordinary adult girls and women are on camera in porn these days that it seriously dilutes the definition of a pornstar. If their rates don't accurately reflect their value and they charge huge amounts just because they have some contract, then it's not worthwhile.

Just the type I was referring to. She's a little hottie, but "pornstar", no, not really. However, her rates are extremely reasonable at $250 compared to several alleged HDH Montreal SP's I've met in the past who couldn't perform their way out of a wet paper bag. If I got the opportunity with Riley at this rate I'd probably go for it.

I think I would spend up to $1200 for an unrushed hour with Sasha Grey. However, if she was escorting it would probably be like $5000 minimum.

I met the late Judy Star for $500/2 hours. I had seen many of her films before that, and she gave me a similar performance with some of the same perks. I thought she was well worth the rates. You are correct that there are many beautiful women who would not ever consider making a video because of the repercussions. I have met a couple of young women who have made 2 or 3 videos and they regret doing so because their families found out and the reaction was not very receptive. One said to me, "I didn't think too many people see porn. My whole town found out." Yet many do it. If you look at the website amateur allure, most of the women look beautiful and wholesome. I would think have parents, brothers, and sisters, etc.
