    Question XM Satellite Radio?

Was wondering if XM is offered in Canada or just the US? Anyone with XM have any problems with reception when travelling to Canada through VT. and does it just stop working at the border?

    Thanks!

I have XM and I recieve my signal just fine, when I drive to NY it comes in super handy as I still get a signal in the mountains. The only deal is that you have to bill it to a US address... but even then, you could just give any address since they do not physically send a bill... it is all online.

Screw The CRTC - I Want Howard Stern

Sirius Canada I believe will not be carrying the Howard Stern Show.
They are riding the wave of publicity but neglecting to tell you that this fuckin' Canadian government is keeping you safe from him.

Cross into the states and pick up everythingyou need to get him. I believe you can even purchase pay as you go cards so you don't even need a us address. Check the howardstern.com site for the links to Sirius and they have a telephone number for all the info you need.

    Xm

The only time I have problems with XM is while driving in downtown Toronto. Maybe it's the tall buildings that block the signal. Also, it seems I lose my signal while driving under bridges in Canada, more often. In my home area I don't have the same problem. In the open areas....no problem.

    We want Howard Stern!!!
Can the CRTC really keep people from listening to Stern via satellite radio ? If so, I'm surprised.

    Question The BIG Question is...

When will the XM and Sirius receivers start popping up that dont need a subscription...like the free to air receivers for Direct TV. Its bound to happen eventually.

I find it somewhat surprising that the CRTC would extend their reach into space... A bit over the top if you ask me .

Although this is offtopic, I've read that BMW rolled out new models recently into which you can now upload your blackberry address book, and receive and send messages while driving using voice commands or on-board controls
