    Congratulations White Sox and Fans

    Hello All,

Congratulations to the Chicago White Sox and their loyal fans. As a member of Red Sox Nation for 39 years, and having reveled in our great victory last year, I know how spectacular it must feel to finally enjoy your greatest sports dream. I have felt like we have been long suffering brothers for many years, and I have had no grudge over the results of the Red Sox loss to the new champions this year. So indulge in the glory of it all as long as you like, and go for broke collecting every souvenir you can get your hands on. How SWEET... IT... IS!!!!!

    Best regards,

    Korbel

Well said, Korbel. I, too, am happy for the city of Chicago, especially those people on the south side who have always suported their team over the years, never losing hope. Wouldn't it be cool to see the WS take on the Cubs in next year's WS ?

Train, are you talking about real football or that game they play in North America?
I have always loved the fact that only North American teams are able to play in the "World Series". Only little league baseball can claim to have a true World Series.

    Kudos to the Sox

And they did it without any big name - ass pampered superstarts - Look at Me, Look at Me babies. That is what is refreshing about it.

In an era where the TO (Terrel Owens) attitude in Philly seems to be the model for professional atheletes, (Me, Me and then Me attitude), it is always refreshing to see a group of grown men taking each other less seriously and taking the game at heart.
The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself.

Therefore: All progress depends on the unreasonable man!

The major awards from this past baseball have yet to be given out: Gold Gloves, MVPs and Cy Youngs for both leagues.
