Yes, hiring on who is best for the job is a thing of the past. A friend of mine is looking for work and has been told by many companies that if he was non-white he would probably be hired, immigrants get ahead of the line because they may work for a few bucks less or the company gets government grants that pay partial wages.
Justine made it a point to not hire who is best for the job but diversify his cabinet, look at what that got us.

Maybe you are blind but non Whites have been discriminated for a long time and now is their chance to get the nice jobs which were traditionally given to the Whites. Non whites got to work ten times harder and have ten times more qualifications to get those nice government and unionized jobs. This is a good move gives us non Whites an opportunity also. Covert racism is very abundant I mean look at all these stripclubs that got a quota on Black girls or Black clients constantly being discriminated by sex workers. In the past a non White applicant who had more qualifications then a White applicant the White still got the job. I know of people who sent the same CV but when they changed the name to a White name they would get calls for job interviews but using their native name and no one called. Time for you to wake up. My point was the same as Sam posted, the best person should be hired and I would not care if they are all brown female Chinese lesbians, as long as they were the best available for the job.
Making it so you MUST hire an underqualified person because of their race is wrong.
Just to note, I do understand about people changing their names because my son with a German name had a hard time getting a job in Quebec, his boss where he still works told him after a couple of years he almost never got called because of his last name, he was since promoted to the youngest supervisors they ever had. Yes, Quebecers need to also hire people with non French names, perhaps I can get some protest group going and have a march. Bahahaha.

Did you ever think there are majority whites because 80% of the applications were from white people, now they want it to be that the 20% non-white should have the same amount of jobs as the 80% white. This should take awhile to sink in.

You do not know how to read. Read properly before you post. I agree for the jobs to go to the best but the crap that Sol Tee Nutz wrote in the past even if a non White person was better qualifyed the job still went to the White person. It was never really based on best qualifications more on favoratism. Even today many jobs are handed out to friends etc... You should be sensitive to the word Crony Capitalism. I know a guy who sent the exact same CV but in one had a non White name and then the other a White name. Guess who got calls? Again the only ppl in denial of covert racism are the Whites. Sol Tee Nutz is White so spare me your speech. It is sucks that government has to implement such rules so that all races get equal chance. These rules were put in place because the Whites were doing exactly what you claim should not been happening and that is giving the job to their racial favorites instead of a non White applicant who might be better qualifyed for the position. Many years ago I once worked at a company which was getting taken over by Iranians. Jobs were being given to team Iran. The husband was in a top job and got his wife the job of Operations Manager who was Iranian. Soon after Iranians were getting management jobs or other great high paying jobs and those people who got those jobs were seriously under qualified... Many did not even have the skills or the training necessary. White people who applied who had the skills were rejected because it was being given over to Iranians. My point in all of this I am against any kind of favoritism based on race. But one has to take into account that since the 1960's racism was open and very normal. Now racism is all covert in other words happening on the low and indirectly. This country is runned by Whites and they had all the top government and management jobs. Immigrants who came were left doing the lowly jobs even if they were over qualified. How many immigrants do we see in government jobs? How many work as police officers? Or fireman? An immigrant had to have ten times more skillset then a White to get the same job. The government and many companies were being runned by Whites. As such these rules were implemented to ensure there is a fair chance for all regardless of race.

What rant? You call on opinion a rant because it is not in tune with yours or because I am a Conservative? I always post that the best person should be hired for the job but am against forcing to hire non-whites just to fill a quota. You should be the one who needs to learn to read or is it your hatred that makes you rant ( and you know others post about it ). Like I said, with 80% of the applications being white expect a white majority in the workforce.
I am also pretty sure you have no friend who wrote 2 application one being white named, fluff to prove your point.
Now if I had a second handle and was pro socialist and started this thread my money would be on you not running your mouth about this.
