Bonjour,

I was skeptical but after downloading a few segments at 4K, I have to say its worth the extra disk space and longer download times. Seeing Taylor Whyte getting fucked for over an hour on 4K UHD made me start seeking that quality almost exclusively.

Personally i could see myself download a few HD/4K scenes, like special scenes or something but i kinda "consume" the everyday brazzers 1 on 1 scene way too fast. Usually i watch once or twice and thats about it.

But some "keepers" i supose yeah.

It is good enough as it is, what next? 6k,8k 10 k.....25k?????

Nope Hercule, the next thing is Virtual Reality in 8k. According to Occulus' CEO, when your VR headset gets to 8K with good content, it will be as good as your HD tv in terms of quality and its size is to shrink to the equivalent of a set of sunglasses. That remains to be seen however, but with Apple working on an 8K per eye headset right now, you can see that this is where the market is going. As you know, Apple is known to set the tone on many things in the industry!

Even if you think it's good enough as it is, the technology will continue to improve because that's the only way they can sell you a new tv or other widgets.

Current TVs have a life span of around 8/10 years. So they make sure to sell you new one no matter what lol.

Yup! But they want you to change your gears every 2-3 years… look at what they do with smartphones!

But when you think about it, about 20 years ago, I bought for the office the first digital camera around, a Logitech Photoman (google it!), with a 320x240 black and white (not shades of gray!) resolution. 10-12 years ago, a 1280 x 720 (not quite 1MegaPixel or 1K) TV was the best around. Now you have 1080p on your phone! (1080*2220 or 2.3K). I can't help but being impressed by what they can achieve today. And we have not seen the end of it.

When they can master virtual reality into something really useful and realistic, and Apple seems to be on track for this, that's going to be quite impressive and it's not only for gamers. If you have ever tried Google Earth in Virtual Reality, you know you can travel the world, walk in the streets of Paris or visit the Grand Canyon from your computer chair. You can even set the time of day to see New York by night! There were VR applications (not very good yet, mind you!) that allowed you to be seated in the Olympic stadium to follow the competitions live, or in the best seats at the FIFA world cup or the Superbowl! So, for the porn lovers out there, you're going to be spoiled! lol!

VR could be interesting but it will have to lower price as currently you need a monster of a computer + the headset itself is like 500/600$

In term of gaming its not really "on point" yet. Some smaller games are fun as hell like the one where you have lightsaber and must destroy cubes that run your way but shooters for instance despite having a first person perspective are not really optimized for that yet.

As for changing TVs every 2-3 years LOL not me. Had to change my first HD TV that i had got in 2015 around a year ago cause the movers broke it, but i plan on keeping my current one (and its not 4k or anything) up until it hopefully naturally die in 8 years or so.

Same for my phone, ill only change it if it break for some reason OR the battery start to be crap. Thats actually why i changed my older one, wich was an old backberry curve (very cheap phone), the battery at the end was very poor due to its 4 years use. Ill admit now that i have a much better phone for internet and such i couldn't go back to the blackberry but thats whats cool about thecnology, usually when you don't try it, you can't miss it.

My current phone will be 2 years soon, i hope it has another 2 years in it at least, then by that moment i don't know whats gonna be out or whatever, but more than likely it will be a bit better than what i have right now but yet ill still go for the cheapest option. I was lucky my 2 phones so far costed around 240$ only. I paid them 10$ a month on top of my bill, and soon my current phone will be paid (3 months to go) so thats why ill enjoy the (hopefully) 2 years of having a rebate of 10$ less on my monthly bill lol .

I would not see myself pay 800$ for a phone... something that you can either break, lost or whatever.

Well Mike, you may be wise, but if the majority of the population was, Apple and the like would go bankrupt... and they're quite wealthy!

As for VR, the technology is not quite there yet, I agree. However what is there is quite impressive and you can get a headset for a few dollars that works with your phone to try it out. But again it's kinda of a preview of what it's going to be, just likes my logitech photo and was a preview of the digital cameras we have today.

Yeah some peoples are weird to be honest. I mean they will get the latest phone at uber high price to game on ... candy crush... :/ LOL

As a gamer personally i think gaming on mobile is not worth it in the first place but i mean cmon, why you get a beast of a phone for that. Its like getting a huge gaming PC to play League of Legends... :/
