Folks:

Pardon the naivete of this question but I am looking for a hotel in downtown Montreal with a jacuzzi for around $80 - $100 (US).

I have never been to Montreal but assume that it's reasonably close to Toronto in costs (found a hotel in downtown TO for $99 with a jacuzzi). Mirrors would be great as well. ;)

Thanks in advance.

Need downtown hotel w/ jacuzzi to stay overnight

Folks:

I need a downtown hotel (emphasis on downtown) with a jacuzzi that I can stay overnight (since I am an out of town guest). I prefer not having to go to another hotel to do "the lambada". ;)

Thanks in advance.

Oliver Kloseoff:

Thanks for the recommendation. If this is in streetwalker central, how safe is it? Is it a rundown neighborhood or relatively nice?

On a related note, are there any recommendations for well known chains (Marriott, Sheraton, etc.) downtown?

Thanks.

I think you're going to have to up you budget..

Flowers,

In order to get a jacuzzi equipped room in Montreal where you can entertain as well as be comfortable with an overnight stay, I think you're going to have to spend a little more. I'm sure these gentlemen mean well, but from my understanding of the calibre of ladies that you hope to entertain, they will not be visiting a hotel where they may be mistaken for a SW or harrassed by guys cruising in cars regardless to whether they deem Montreal a safe city or not. I know you are very familiar with Toronto from previous correspondence. And I doubt whether you live in the US.

Try this place: http://www.bonsmatins.com/

This is a quite comfortable bed and breakfast on the west side of town very close to Crescent street area for entertainment.

Rates start at around 199 cdn per night but the rooms speak for themselves. The only bad rap I've heard is that it can be noisy at night as the area is close to a busy street and the sound insulation is nonexistant. These are converted victorians in a residential area.

As for major chains: Marriot Chateau Champlain and Sheraton hotels are in that same general area. Rates around the 170 per night on up. Omni is also a good location. Sofitel is also a very nice hotel which can be had around the same price at this time of the year. None of these, however, are equipped with Jacuzzis.

If you go to priceline, you can get a 4 star hotel for 80USD or less, but these are the standard Marriott type room and not the jacuzzi suite you're looking for.

Is the B&B OK with me bringing back company?

EBS:

Thanks for the suggestion. The rooms seem to serve my needs pretty well.

Have you used this B&B? Would they be OK with me bringing back company to the room? Would somebody like Florence or Sophie Sweet be OK with this? One's mentioned that she won't go to hotels on Crescent Street.

Thanks in advance.

BTW, I do live in the US. The handle, flowersineurope, was used for the simple reason that almost everything else on Yahoo was taken. I like Europe but am not from there.

Bonmatin is fine for ladies...

Flowers,

Bon Matin would be fine for entertaining any of the ladies. I have not stayed there but it comes highly recommended by a HDH lady and has been reviewed by an FKS client on their message board. I believe some of the suites have private entrances that allow access without going through the unit that has the front desk. At any rate, the hotel staff is fine with you having ladies in the room..in fact the rooms are made for weekend trysts.
