    Premature Ejaculation

Premature Ejaculation? Two Minutes or Less - Study

Premature ejaculation occurs in just under two minutes, as opposed to about seven minutes for men able to stay the course, according to a U.S. study aimed at setting some standards for the disorder.

And it can indeed lead to dissatisfaction, a sense of losing control and strained relationships, said the report released on Wednesday.

"Most people think uni-dimensionally about premature ejaculation in terms of considering it a disorder of time," said Stanley Althof of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Ohio, who worked on the study.

"This article demonstrates that subjective factors like sense of control, distress, and sexual satisfaction need to be considered when treating this highly prevalent disorder."

The researchers timed ejaculations by giving stopwatches to the sex partners of more than 1,500 men.

Writing in the Journal of Sexual Medicine, they said they were trying to set parameters for a condition that is poorly defined medically.

About 200 of the men in the study suffered from premature ejaculation, they found. A man with the condition took 1.8 minutes to ejaculate after beginning intercourse compared to 7.3 minutes for most of the men.

Premature ejaculators and their female partners also had higher ratings for personal distress, interpersonal difficulty with their partner, lack of ejaculation control and dissatisfaction with sexual intercourse, they found.

"Premature ejaculation (PE) is the most common male sexual dysfunction, affecting approximately 20 percent to 30 percent of the male population at any one time," the researchers wrote in their report.

"Currently, available data suggest that only 1 percent to 12 percent of males self-reporting PE receive treatment for their dysfunction."

The study was funded in part by Mountain View, California-based Alza Corp. and Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceutical Services, LLC, which are seeking Food and Drug Administration approval for the drug dapoxetine for treating premature ejaculation.

Researchers at the University of Washington in Seattle, the University of Minnesota, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey and Valparaiso University in Indiana also took part in the study.

The problem is easily controlled by applying pressure to the base of the cock. Most SPs will not do it because they want you to come quickly, especially on a one hour date where they want to leave early if permitted to do so. Time is money.................

so, if you put a rubber band tight at the base of your penis then you can prevent this?
Once in a blue moon I get this problem (not in 20 seconds but let say less than 3 minutes).
I wonder what would happen to my junior if I put the rubber band too tight?

With a bj, I can last forever but as soon as intercourse starts, especially if I hadn't cum in a few days, I can tend to fire quicker then I want......not sure if it's under two minutes or not, but under seven.
Thats why I love foreplay and oral at first for as long as possible.

Is it really necessary for me to give a biology lesson here? There is a major artery that carries blood into your cock. When blood supply is cut off sensation is lost. This is really not hard to figure out....................

For the same reasons it is thought that frequent masturbation increases the problem of premature ejaculation.

intresting.. when I was 17 or so I had no problem whatsoever..
My theory on this is that we all hit that certain age when during that time your body simply wants to do the what all other male animals do.. pass on your gene. so at certain period of time, your body wants to make sure you cum as many times as possible (sooner you cum, the more time you have for next encounter).
and when you pass this time of period, then you are back to normal.

    Frequent Masturbation

I believe that frequent masturbation increases blood flow and circulation and enlarges arteries in the penis. What you are doing is exercising your cock. Just like when you go to the gym and run on a treadmill or jog, you are increasing your blood flow throughout your body. With increased blood flow comes increased sensation.

None of this is rocket science, fellas. I am not saying anything new here which has not been said before on other Boards, in medical journals etc.

unmasterbate? interesting. I was thinking something like, 1 day without masterbation equals to 10 seconds longer I can last. so if I don't masterbate for 1 year then I will be able to last 3650 seconds (~ 60 minutes) longer than usual.

For me it depends, If I don't cum for over a week or close to a month then, I cum in 2 seconds, well not that fast but fast, and if I fuck a super hot girl that has all the right moves then I can cum fast, but I can always control it, go fast slow back and forth, take it out smack the pussy fuck some more, play around, but if I get lucky more than once a week, then my girl, will get fucked till her pussy needs lube or spit , or she begs me to finally cum because its hurting, so then I ram it hard and fast till the end or she can't take it any more and gives me a hand job, but if I'm paying she better take it! A few times I had to finish myself off with a girl and bust in her face. Because her pussy was sore.

    Faster than a speeding bullet

As a sometime member of the 100M dash club (thanks for the expression Orallover), I can say that I have never really experienced as a problem. Rather, it is an interesting challenge: how to hold off long enough to make the pleasure for both partners last? Well, for the female partner, that is not so hard: lots and lots of foreplay, making sure that there is at least one orgasm before penetration; in my experience, the second one doesn’t take as long to occur, unless the pause between them is too long. As for me, when I am in situations where my pecker is bursting to cross the finish line, I just hold off, even if that means withdrawing my pecker from the racetrack. Funny thing is I have found that a lot of women actually enjoy this; it seems to build up their own climax.

But what I can’t figure out is that with some women, I am much more a marathon runner. It doesn’t matter how well I know them or how long I have known. And what’s more, try as I might, I can’t really find any similarities among them.

On another register, does anyone know when the expression “premature ejaculation” was coined, that is, when it became an object of scientific interest? I did a very quick Internet search but couldn’t turn anything up beyond endless, very recent studies, as well as an endless number of herbal remedies. In my more general, historical reading, I can’t recall coming across any significant references to it (maybe I have, but have just forgotten). And, as far as I know, no findings of cock rings have been reported in any archeological digs; a good number of ivory and ebony dildos, but no cock rings.

Well... maybe the first few times when I was 17 y.o.

There have been studies linking just that, marturbation and premature ejaculation. In a nutshell, some men who masturbate frequently and in a hurry(e.g. gotta hurry because my wife/girlfriend/sister/mother is pulling into the driveway) condition themselves to cum too fast. This is typically adolescent behavior, where the goal is to unload as quickly as possible in order to obtain immediate pleasure. The downside being that you are conditioned not to last.

Hey, don't shoot the messenger. It's just something I read.

welcome to the 100M dash club, Rex.
I think we will have a 100M dash club get together some time in the future? *need opinion on this *

now back to the subject, I do use that pull out and play with her a bit then continue the main course and I think that is more effective than just hold (but junior is still in the water slide) and then continue.

also premature ejaculation occure when you get to much exited and also when nervous or stressed so be relaxed and taking deep breath would help.
