Actually, we do not know if he is a billionaire, he inflates everything like his ego. For property taxes he states very low values for his properties. With all his bankruptcies, failed businesses, AG of NY closing his phony charity, and the Trump University scam his net worth may be very low. Remember no banks in the US have loaned him money for years. Most of his "empire" is in hawk it seems with Deutsche Bank known for laundering Russian money. I bet he is Putin's man since Putin provides the financing for his scams. Some of his hotels have been reported to have large losses.
