Thanks to the wonderful CAQ, THC gummies are hard to come by in Qc. Anyone have experience/recommendations where to order within Canada that can deliver to QC?

I like having THC edibles to help me sleep, but am not in the mood for the SQDC's THC infused beets before bed.

I buy mine from the Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS). Delivery is very quick, usually takes a couple of days to arrive. A buddy of mine who lives in Mtl told me he can’t find any in Mtl and i was surprised to hear this since you can buy them at any cannabis store or directly from the government in Ontario.

I get my THC gummies at a great store in Holyoke, Massachusetts called Canna Provisions. I would suggest you look at their website. My 2 recommended gummies are Coast and Zonked, both pictured below. Each gummy has 15 mg TAC. I usually take 2 or 2.5 gummies 45 minutes prior to bedtime. The difference between Coast and Zonked is that Zonked has Melatonin 3 mg in each gummy.

CP does cap the purchaser at $180 per order. And you also must pay by cash or debit card which I think is fairly standard with any Cannabis purveyor. I got around the cap by giving my father $180 in cash and having him buy the exact same order after I left the store with my purchase. As a result I was able to secure a 4 month supply. BTW CP is a super professional outfit.

I can guarantee you Canadian dudes that there are probably some great stores in Vermont. All you need to do is take a ride over the border. Don't be so shy. And while you are in Vermont check out Zero Gravity in Burlington and right down the road is a Montreal bagel purveyor who is from Montreal and cooked bagels at Fairmount or St. Viateur.

When you go to Burlington for the gummies, the Montreal bagel store is called Myers. They make Montreal bagels better than in Montreal using a cook from Montreal. Here is the link:
I took this photo of their bagels when I was there about a month ago. This place is sick. Line out the door mostly UVM students.

The place in Burlington to check out is Green State Dispensary:
Not as good a gummy selection as Canna Provisions but it will need to do. Good news is it's not far from Myers Bagels or a Zero Gravity.

Good to know. However it might be easier for Montrealers to simply cross the border into Ontario to buy their gummies.

I’m not sure if it’s legal for Canadians to get caught with cannabis products purchased in the States if they get caught with them when crossing the border.

I’ve been sleeping much better since i began to use them. I usually take 1-2 gummies within an hour of going to bed if that’s the purpose i use them. The first time i tried them a few months ago I didn’t know better & took 4 of them. It totally fucked me up for the next few hours but the strange thing is that when i went to bed i was horny as hell! I felt like i did 10-20 years ago when i was the most sexually active i had ever been & when my libido was sky-high. But i also felt i was hallucinating & hearing things. So now two is my maximum. These are my favorite gummies which i have purchased legally from either the government’s online store or at one of the local cannabis stores in Ontario. They cost $5 per package, which i find very reasonable.

What is the issue? If it's legal in Quebec and legal in Vermont, legal + legal = legal, correct? Sort of like 2+2=4.

I cross the border to Massachusetts and bring gummies back to CT all the time. It's legal in both states, so no problem. I have to go to Mass. only because they have better stores set up there whereas the ones in CT are not all up and running yet. But I can legally travel and buy my marijuana there. I also bought gummies in Maine and drove through 4 states with the gummies (Maine, New Hampshire, Mass. and CT). Nobody stopped me. Nobody cares because it's legal.

When you cross a border, the country's laws apply, not the province or state. Even if cannabis is legal in Vermont, a Canadian can not bring some through the USA boarder because it is still illegal at federal USA level.

I found that: "Under the Cannabis Act, it remains illegal to import into Canada, or export from Canada, cannabis and cannabis products without a valid permit or exemption (including CBD products derived from cannabis or hemp) issued by the Government of Canada."

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) is reminding Canadians that although cannabis has been legalized and regulated in Canada, it remains illegal to bring cannabis (and cannabis products) into or out of Canada – whether it is a gift or for personal use. Also, when shopping online, make sure you are buying from a licensed Canadian cannabis retailers to avoid potential delays, an enforcement action and even criminal prosecution.

I had aleady figured this out. You don’t have to be a lawyer or a cop to know this. Laws vary when you deal with different jurisdictions overlooking items you’re attempting to cross the border with. Whenever i’d cross the border i’d always be asked if i had any tobacco or alcohol products. I did not but i figured if i did & said so they likely would have got confiscated.

Cannabis qualifies as being tobacco? This is news to me.

During Jazz Festival in 2010 returning to the US I had $300 of completely legal black tea purchased in Chinatown I in Montreal seized by US Customs agents. I was not fined. I was told that the seizure was due to the tea being placed in unlabeled ziplock plastic bags. I had purchased the tea from a merchant on Clark Street in Montreal on numerous prior occasions and declared it on numerous prior occasions. After all, it was fucking tropical black tea, lychee and other varieties, and completely legal. On this occasion they actually inspected it after I declared it. They didn't do that previously. The customs agent said I wouldn't be fined because I declared it but seized it and gave me a seizure notice. He said to me, "how do I know what's actually in this tea if there is no label describing its contents?" I told him "it's black tea from southwestern Chinese jungles which I purchased in Montreal Chinatown. That's the way the merchant packed it. He weighed it in the ziplock bags after scooping it in from large cans. You pay by weight." He then showed me the US federal regulation on seizing agricultural goods not labelled with a description of contents.

As to why I bought $300 worth, I was given money by 3 other attorneys in my firm. One gave me $100 and the other 2 $50 each. I also bought $100 of my own. They had received samples of my teas from prior trips and like me, thought that Montreal Chinatown tea merchant was a Tea God. Anyway, I reimbursed them and took the loss.

I should note that the marijuana gummies are labelled as to contents so they wouldn't be seized for that reason.

You misunderstood my post. Marijuana is not tobacco. I was just stating that there are special import conditions for different products and that those products being legal in 2 different countries doesn't imply you can bring it with you through a boarder. I was responding to @Doc Holliday that posted: "Whenever i’d cross the border i’d always be asked if i had any tobacco or alcohol products. I did not but i figured if i did & said so they likely would have got confiscated."

You are all wrong on this one. You should review bylaws.
"Under the Cannabis Act, it remains illegal to import into Canada, or export from Canada, cannabis and cannabis products without a valid permit or exemption (including CBD products derived from cannabis or hemp) issued by the Government of Canada."
Labelled or not, you need a valid permit or exemption...

I am not wrong. You should review what you are responding to. They would NOT be seized for not being labelled because they are all labelled. I didn't ever say they wouldn't be seized for other reasons, so I have no idea what you are talking about.
