In the states, for what we pay here in one year for registrations and licenses, you get 5 years to not worry about it.
Owning a cellphone. For most peoples today its a given. Sure you can buy the device like a tablet but the subscription at 30$ a month (rough minimum) is a luxury.

I was going to say something similar. I think especially of middle school and high school students who take their phones for granted (and laptops and iPads, etc). I was probably out of college before I owned anything as expensive as an iPhone--and that was my first car.
First thing that came to mind when I read this the title of the thread. Drinkable tap water. It's so true. There are so many regions of the world where this can't be done. Sadly even a few places in Canada but for the most part we have clean and drinkable tap water.
